If this is released in Japan, it will be Macross & Ichijo. For the rest of the world where HG has the rights, it will be Robotech & Rick Hunter, I guess? Hence the product title 'Robotech Macross VF-1J' - means they have license for both. The question is 'Can I get Japanese version when I live in US?' I guess the answer would be 'No'

They said they already had (nearly) 100 reserved during Chinese toy event. Maybe this will sell out eventually and become a holy grail in 2-3 years... LOL BTW ' Due to the royalty condition, certain area will not be available for purchase ' What are those lucky areas? Japan?

What if they are planning a couple of more cockpit items? such as DYRL VF-1 cockpit or Macross plus YF-19 cockpit? How many of these can you actually put on display? I'm bound more by display space than money at the moment... Probably I can take only 1 VF-1 cockpit (and maybe YF-19 and/or YF-21 if they become available in the future)

My SAL shipping days are over. Usually I get a monthly shipping - which ends up cheaper with EMS In some rare cases (like this one) NY's price is somewhat lower than HLJ or AmiAmi, but always end up with ridiculous shipping charges - that's actually strange. In many cases, I noticed I get the same size (almost similar weight also) EMS box from AmiAmi, HLJ and NY.. Their shipping charges are vastly different.

Nippon Yasan is cheaper, but shipping is more than twice (of HLJ)... probably it will end up similar.. Anyways, it's AmiAmi's bad sales day today, I guess.. I ended up ordering my stuff from HLJ and NY today...

After a fregin' long wait, searching and bidding wars, I finally got myself a new home. Buying a house in northern California is a crazy nightmare. Anyways, Moving in soon and continuing all my projects as I settle down next month!

On the other hand, Bandai idiots can over-estimate the order quantity -which will end up in bargain bin - which will result in bad sales number and discontinuing the series. I'm serious. They've done that many times.

I do have most of their Metal Action Series and Some Dynamic Action models. As you can guess from the pictures, their products details are not so great. They are there, but as sharp as Bandai or Arcadia's. It's a lot like old Yamato toys detail. They sure know what some of the fans want thou. Their line of items prove that. So I'm happy they are making this. As for HLJ, they can go suck an egg. I just came off of heated conversation with them about their customer support... Big disappointment as a long time big customer...They are not like what they used to be. Now they are officially at the bottom of my online shop list.

Major difference from HLJ is AmiAmi doesn't take order cancellation. You can ask, and they might do it. They will put you on the black list. Also Amiami price is lower in general, but their shipping is higher than HLJ. So in the end, it's about same.

It says 'Miyazawa model convention limited ' ( and it also says ETA: 2016 spring - 32,000 yen). Hopefully they will general-release the Super Armed Pack later..

Im familiar with evo toys products. I have their other diecast line toys. Their engineering level is somewhat close to that of very early Yamato Macross toys. Remember the very first Macross plus toys? Its that level...
