You can place the battery holder here as well. It seems easier to replace battery this way. You just need to cut out some parts thou.

Yamato announced there will be a 2nd batch of pre-order opening from 11/27 - ending 12/5. They will count the remaining (probably cancelled portion) + extra production and make a 'limited number' 2nd release. I'm not sure how the retailers will handle this thou. It still says 2012 December release BTW, I think this is Mr.K in below pic

Like I said, I think he is a chief engineer/designer in Yamato's Macross product division. I'm not sure how much of his wishes and opinion can be reflected in actual production, but I do like his list.

2 page interview is kinda long, so I'll just translate what seems matters most. *page 29 is mostly Yamato - Macross history - How they evolved from hand-made to current manufacturing process, and how Mr. K is personally attached to Macross-7..etc and how they tried to put every gimmick into Fire Valkyrie. *page 31 VF-4G idea started from 'year 2012' and fan's desire. They mostly started design from Kawamori's sketch materials for game, so there might be some differences from other images. Mr. K personally wants to redo the ones made before he came on board. Also he wants to try SV-51 (his first product) one more time. Also if chances are given, he wants to do the ones never made before (VF-0D, VF-9, VF-14, Battle7 and Variable Gra..etc..) About user request. The most wanted are Macross-F items, but other company is making good products (Bandai), so maybe later if timing is right. And YF-19! He wants to make the YF-21 renewal version if they can solve some of the problems they had before (and with permission - by boss? or license?) Please keep loving Macross!!~ And to the picture details About VF-4G : Macross Digital Mission VF-X (Megaroad01 2012) About sales, pre-order is now closed, but thinking about 2nd batch order The Front nose : Transformation : bend the nose - push down the cockpit block and fold canard - lift up the back cover and covers the cockpit block. Somewhat related to YF-19 or VF-25 transformation. Legs : Unique transformation. you can taste new experience. Thigh comes out from thin plane body. pull out Slide shutter gimmick..etc lots of new transformation gimmicks. I think that covers most of the text BTW, I still think the price is ridiculous!!!!

I like everything except for the exclusive price tag and the December release date. December is already booked with stuff that can't be cancelled. Hopefully this won't be sold out by late January..

So.. We have anyone who doesn't have falling wings peg problem? If so, can you kindly tell me if the pegs are glued or rotated? Mine just pops out by just touching the wings. I see the peg has cut-side on the circle. I'm not sure if inserting and rotating will fix the issue.

Got mine today. No visible flaws - BUT!! the wing pins fall off as I try to fold/unfold. Definitely Design QC issue. Other than that, No problems on transforming back and forth. Maybe my Japanese reading skill helped The Pelvis/leg ball joint was very tight thou. I was worried a little on first try.

Just a friendly advise from who ordered from NY before. Their price is not fixed as Amiami or HLJ. Soon they will jack up the price to match ebay price. (and discontinued) So if you're gonna order from them, do it now while the price is still close to retail.

2 pages and no one translated that hand photo description!!!??? It says 'slide the bottom lock to pull out the hand/wrist. You can switch between 4 different hands. There is also extra joint on the root of hand joints' You don't need to take off the hands to transform. The peg size look different because the page was not flat scanned. They are the same sizes. the one on the far left is 'articulated hand' and the rest is fixed pose.

looks like Nippon Yasan pre-order is now closed. Good luck for the people waiting for HLJ. Honestly, this is going too crazy. Bandai makes too many useless stuff that goes in Bargain bin, yet they make hot item very limited.. I don't know who's doing marketing over there, but they need to be replaced!

I've ordered from them 3 times so far. This is how my experience is so far. * The price is locked at the time you place your order. They raise price as it becomes harder to find, and eventually they close the pre-order when it reaches the quota. It doesn't hurt to screen grab the last page of your order confirmation and keep it somewhere so that you can look back. * They send you invoice early - like 2-3 weeks before the product is released. However, you don't need to pay right away. They give you the deadline which is like a day before the release. Pay them a day before the due day - this will save your order from cancellation due to time differences and also increases your chance for PayPal 45 day protection if something goes wrong. * choose your shipping option with somethig trackable. They are legit and reliable, but not on the same level as HLJ or AmiAmi in my opinion. Make it trackable. *They have 'your orders' page you can check and communicate with the sales person. Hope this helps.

I'm curious as well. Used them only twice so far. My experience with them was both good and bad. partially my fault to choose unregistered SAL option and lost one package. The other one came in fine. I did get full refund from PayPal thou. So you are the reason it became extinct!?
