IMHO getting the assembly kit just for 2 shoulders is overkill unless you really plan to use the rest of the kit for modding/repair. A pair of shoulders on shapeways costs USD15-USD30 (including shipping, cost depending on where it's shipped).

So this reissue would have 2 sets of chest side covers (white and grey)?

I think I'd be willing to buy the armor off those who want this set for the 1J only. I wonder if they'll bundle in the pilot seat (as seen below) from the option parts in this release?

It was a true V2 but suffered from shoulder issues, I don't know why it was never reissued during the 30th anniversary like the VE-1. Shelfwarmer perhaps?

A lightbox/diffuser (even DIY) can do wonders, that's how master Saburo gets the lovely creamy light for his shots. On-camera flash is too small/weak a light source so the falloff in brightness is apparent from the nose to the tail of the valk. Try placing 1 sheet of white paper in front of the flash/light source to spread out the light all over the valk at the expense of some brightness.

Never encountered mis-shipped items with Buyee however I did order several boxes shipped in a single day, they all arrived even before the shipping notification email from buyee was sent.

^yeah, that's safe. anything with option parts or has the 30th anniversary sticker/packaging should have no durability issues.

Buyee doesn't repack packages unless you ask them to, so the shipping weight also depends on the seller's packing method when they ship to the buyee warehouse, FYI. A VF-1 without super packs should weigh around 1.5kg shipped. 2 VF-1's is less than 2.5kg shipped.
