  1. For that price, I'd go with YJA and buyee instead. EDIT: Though free int'l shipping does take the sting out of that price a *tiny* bit.
  2. Never encountered mis-shipped items with Buyee however I did order several boxes shipped in a single day, they all arrived even before the shipping notification email from buyee was sent.
  3. you could try to sand down the knurled part of the pin to make it fit in the shapeways shoulder.
  4. ^yeah, that's safe. anything with option parts or has the 30th anniversary sticker/packaging should have no durability issues.
  5. Buyee doesn't repack packages unless you ask them to, so the shipping weight also depends on the seller's packing method when they ship to the buyee warehouse, FYI. A VF-1 without super packs should weigh around 1.5kg shipped. 2 VF-1's is less than 2.5kg shipped.
  6. PM'ed you ophio if you haven't ordered yet...
  7. keep the metal pin, you can use it in the shapeways shoulder parts without any fear of breakage.
  8. Awesome music on this video, anybody got artist/song info? EDIT: it's Monster by Pink Lady LOL.
  9. Bidding is gonna be insane on most of those 3 days from now...
  10. is that a Kahler tremolo installed?
  11. fighter mode looks really good but the other 2 modes don't appeal to me. wonder if the disconnected intakes in gerwalk are intentional.
  12. Dumb question: why not apply the tape on the metal part rubbing the cockpit instead?
  13. thanks for this, I may have to check whether mine is transformed properly.
  14. You want your Max and Kakizaki back? Willing to sell
  15. Yeah, arm-only stands would still be awesome and you could reuse the Bandai SMS base. What size rubber washers/screws/nuts/bolts are used for the swivelling arm? Maybe the plastic arm parts could be printed in shapeways and the other parts would be BYO (buy your own).
  16. Sorry to hear about the defective toys shipped from Amiami. My first copy came from there without any issues, hope my second copy (arrived from HLJ yesterday) is flawless as well.
  17. These are really nice stands! Awesome work, I hope they're affordable
  18. Yes it collapses for storage like the older 19's.Regarding instructions, they combined a lot of steps into 1 photo (usually side view) with sections of the Valk outlined to show how parts move together, along with Japanese text descriptions. More DX chogokin style than Yamato style. I suspect a lot of confusing trial and error if this is your first 19 style Valk. Go read the older Yamato instructions, they will clear things up.
  19. just finished one round of transformation from fighter->gerwalk->battroid. some pics but a disclaimer first. my phone's camera sensor heats up and craps out if you leave the camera app on for too long, pictures in low light get a purple tinge. click thumbs for big box size comparison what's inside gwalk nose section during gwalk-battroid. those canards can be pulled out completely to rotate downards. the instructions are less detailed than yamato's old ones. good thing i've had some vf-19 experience (i have a 19s). head section. the tiny doors either side of the neck are new for the yf-19 threading the cockpit through the chest, sorry about the flash. potential scraping of the cockpit during transformation, looked like there was still some clearance between it and the backplate though.the cockpit actually moves farther away from the backplate once you rotate the chest section down to lock into the nosecone (the uni-boob) all done nice things: looks great in all 3 modes IMHO tight codpiece compared to my 19s matte finish gunpod is bad-ass (more matte than the 19s IIRC, i didn't bring it out to compare) the wing gimmick is cool, hope it doesn't loosen over time lots of missiles! i paid SGD10 less for my 19s (bought locally in SG) and it didn't have as much accessories as this (yeah, I know M7 didn't show them using lots of missiles, but still). the figures are nicely detailed & sculpted. not so nice: the metal hip swingbars were quite hard to rotate forward to battroid position since the plastic springy tabs locking them in fighter position were smaller compared to the 19s the wing roots could break, the plastic feels thinner and flexes a bit when you rotate the wings into the correct position for battroid. the instructions are very unclear how exactly to rotate the wings in battroid mode, there's just a final picture but no clear diagram for the rotation points. ankles are still the old vf-19 design, have to be careful not to loosen them excessively the feet were quite hard to pull out to open up for gwalk/battroid all in all this is an amazing valk to have if you are/were a M+ fan.
  20. Well, mine finally arrived after ~13 hours in the delivery van. Hope I have some free time tonight to check it out (Diablo3 RoS is taking up my free time nowadays). Hope the problem above is just a fluke as well.
