Placed an order for the Arcadia FB2012 Minmay figure. It'll go well with the VF-4. Maybe.

No notice from CDJ. I actually sent them an email 4 days ago asking to change the shipping method. They only just now replied saying it's in shipping progress now and can't be changed. Gotta love how ass backwards many Japanese companies still are.

DX VF-25 Re-Renewal Version. Previous version is super dated already. DX VF-4. Yamato already did all the hard work, just copy them but in FB2012 colors. DX YF-21. Yamato's is still great, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

Probably not enough for the aftermarket prices to surpass 30k immediately after release day. Just one for me this time around. No need for super parts for this one. Glad I preordered several missile sets.

Oh come on, no one in SDFM is manlier than Hikaru. Except for Roy. And Max. Also Miria, Kakizaki, Misa, Claudia, Captain Global, and the Bridge Bunnies. And most of the Zentradi.

They open at noon and close at 8 PM Japan time. They continuously list new stuff throughout the day, starting a little before opening and for a little bit after closing time. Just have to check continuously in that roughly 10 hour window. -

That's clearly the Arcadia YF-19 with the wing sweep and tinted canopy. -
No offense. I say that all the time. It's a Futurama reference. Are there issues with using lacquers directly onto die cast parts? I used a coat of primer before painting.

Thanks! Good to know. Though it's the rear doors that are the real pain, with their shape and close positioning to the gears.

It hurts seeing a break like that, and I see breaks like that all the time on humans.

Nope. What do I look like,? A man who's not lazy? Masked & sprayed. Masking the landing gear bay is the most onerous part. If there was a way to take it apart and remove just the landing gear for painting, that would make the whole thing so much easier. At least on the DX VF-1J you can remove the bay doors completely, which makes it easier to mask than other valks where the doors are not removable. Which is why I haven't started on the 25G or RVF. Just thinking of those doors makes me balk.

Don't remember that part, but there's still plenty of black around the text, and few mortals are so good with a Q-tip and solvent that they can perfectly remove text and not anything around or underneath it. Which was the point.
