I think the Belters are real interesting and to a pretty big degree I sympathize with them. I tend to root for the under-dog though so there is some of that. I'm a fan of the Belters forming their own nation and not being under the boot of the inner planets. But, more Fred Johnson's approach than Marko's. There certainly are some despicable Belters. That can be said about pretty much any group of people though.

They won't be selling those.

What pilot figure is that/from?

That is Julie Mao's sister. She did some bad stuff in season 3. Here is to the Naomi family drama toning down as the season goes on. I was hoping for a lot more Amos. In the book his exploits on Earth were super entertaining. I'm bias though. I absolutely adore the character.

I think the way this season is laid out where you're jumping around so much isn't working with the once a week release schedule. Just when i'm getting back in the story.......the episode ends. I should have waited until they were all out an binged it. Oh well, still great and I will probably watch it again anyway. It's been years since I have read the book but I don't remember it being so Naomi family drama oriented. I love her character and arc. I do feel like it has taken center stage when the book gave equal billing to everything going on at the time. A very small complaint. The space battle with the Roci in this last episode was BEAUTIFUL! Stellar (pun intended) stuff there! I think Philip is just interested in Naomi. He never struck me as very ambitious. He just wants to please Dad. They have made some changes from the book (more so than other seasons) so it may go another way. And OMG, I didn't think I could hate Marko any more. I was wrong. Man he is written and acted perfectly. I want to strangle him to death! I really like this reviewer. He just posted this:

Right? I actually enjoy Snyder movies. Visually they're stunning. And I think it helps i'm not familiar with any of the source material so I judge them as stand alone's. The original JL was pretty weak but not horrible IMO. Certainly worth the $5.00 I spent on it. A good Saturday nigh turn your brain off and chill on the couch movie. I'm looking forward to the Snyder cut. -
The Mandalorian - Star Wars webseries from Jon Favreau
sqidd replied to SMS007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
IMO I think if Boba and Luke run into each other in future shows they should have some contempt for each other, but not come to blows. They are effectively "on the same side". It would be an opportunity for some good tension and snappy digs at the other person. That would be entertaining.- 1438 replies

I keep seeing you looking for these with no success. What are the chances that someone is going to give those parts up? My guess is almost zero. Even if they don't use them they want them in case they sell the toy. Why not design a base from scratch and have it 3D printed? You could get a better looking base to your exact specifications, you could get as many as you want, it probably wouldn't cost much more than if someone were to sell you those parts and most importantly it can actually happen. That would be stupid simple to design.

I do agree the retention system was devise by a monkey with brain damage, Functionally I have never had an issue. I don't swoosh though. From the perspective of a engineer/designer/fabricator it does drive me bonkers though. WHY BANDAI!?!? All they had to do was copy Yamato. And it can be much better than that. Not exactly rocket science.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actulally surprised that PayPal doesn't screw us when we charge them back. That would be the PP thing to do.

Haha, I just woke up and my eye aren't turned on yet. I didn't see the month number in the middle of the Japanese Characters. Oh yeah, BUSY!!!! I'm just getting "caught up" from June!!!! I also need to get more display space working. I have to finish my custom desk and get one more cab in the office. Right now I don't have anywhere to put more stuff. That doesn't include the Mospeada stuff though. I have room on that shelf, I just need to spend the time to get stuff un-boxed and set up. It's actually kinda sparse right now. Well, back to work!

I can't seem to figure out how to copy that date to get it into translate. What month? Thanks! And I still haven't un-boxed my blue ones!

They’re already DX’s so I suppse if they were going to do that it would probably be a Metal Structure. 1/35 scale. $1000+. Bandai isn’t terribly consistent. The Metal Structure Gundam is about 17” tall and costs about $1000. The DX Mazinger Z is about 16” tall and $1000. I’d buy a $1000 1/35 Focker without hesitating.

I'll happily pay twice as much money to get a DX over a KC. I ended up selling all of my KC's but one that I kept for the Focker Army. IMO they're junky and the sculpt looks dumb. Do you even lift bro?

I binged Into The Night on Netflix yesterday with the wife. Not bad. A good Sunday binge watch. It's not high brow. It's not stupid either. One of those shows that you don't have to switch your brain all the way on for and you can just sit there and be entertained. It's only 6 episode and about 40min per so you can blow right though it. If it was a movie I would call it a "Popcorn Movie".
