  1. Looks great, and I was begining to come up with excuses to get one....then I looked at my shelves above my desk and noted 3 1/48 Fokers in my collection. I doubt I will pull the trigger on a 1/60 version. If they release a 1/60 VF-11 I am all over though!
  2. Do you know what the average cost of a contract killing is in the USA? $356 It's amazing it's that low isn't it. And that's the average. I am thinking somewhere someone is standing on the corner of Crack & Eight Ball and would do it for $100 Not that this information has anything to do with your current situation.
  3. 1/60 VF-0 with Ghost. Absolutely beautiful!
  4. Scale doesn't bother me a bit.
  5. The shots of his high school were taken at my high school. It's Ann Arbor Huron High. I thougt that was pretty cool. I also used to go out with a girl that lived on the street that he did near the water tower. All in all I thought it was entertaining. It was missing an ending though. It was watching a long TV show. The theme of the movie could be made to work very well I think. I hope they come out with a part II and continue on the same storyline.
  6. About $7000+. And the worst part is that was all in a little under a year.
  7. Well I just broke down and ordered one (I doubt it will stop there too. I was doing so good too, no toys in 4 months//////
  8. I was all over a weatherd Roy till I saw this. I am not going to chase exclusives all over the world for silly money just to have one of every 1/48. I would rather spend my money on more customs from some of the painters that post here. I feel better now, I realy didn't want to spend over $500 on one toy.......even though I probably would have.
  9. I'm glad I don't have anywhere to put that thing!
  10. Is there any difference at all between the show special and the limited release Weathering Specials? Packaging? Anything? I am considering spending "all the money" on one and the seller isn't sure if there is a difference at all and doesn't know if it is an actual show special or not. Any help would be apreciated thanx sqidd
  11. I'm pretty sure it's playing all week. It's worth the time, that's for sure.
  12. I am not too sure how interested you guys are in this but did anyone catch the Ron Howard directed specials on our history in space this past weekend? I think it was amazing! Those early astronauts were real men, that’s for sure. You could just tell when they were doing their interviews how cool under pressure those guys were. It just blew me away. The most amazing thing is the crap that they used to shoot those guys too the moon. The GPS in my truck has more computing power than the Lunar Landing Module. It was also cool to get some more of the detailed facts about the missions than what you normally pick up or what you get by watching the movie “The Right Stuff”. If you have not seen it and you have a chance to catch an encore presentation this week sometime do it. I think you will be blown away. I swear there were a few times where I though I was going to get a little to overwhelmed and cry. Those guys are simply amazing!
  13. I'll buy just about anything I'm dumb like that
  14. Where do people get these skills!? They should be making movie props.
  15. I voted for the 19. The reason is that I am not too impressed with the batroid mode of the 21. For me it's just too unbalanced. That would also explain why I have 4 1/60 19's and one 1/72 21 (soon to be followed by a 1/60 21)
  16. Sorry to offend. It has been removed.
  17. Not after they screwed up the track a few years back, LOL. Just kidding. I have never been to Europe. I love the origonal Assen layout though....CRAZY FAST! I may be doing some Italian Superbike stuff this fall though. Lots of world class tracks all within a few hundred miles of each other! Yummie!
  18. Unfortunately no. I don't get to do stuff like that in the summer. I am always at the track either working or racing. I'm all loaded up and leaving in a few hours for this weekend out of town. I will be doing a little of this about 8am Saturday morning though Could be worse. I could have a real job

    The BEST valk?

I have two of the VF-0S's with the Ghost Booster and they are a huge improvement over the 0A's as far as the shoulders go. They are a lot tighter too. If you like the look of the stuff from Zero get the 0S with the booster. If you get one without the booster you may run into a problem with having the same problems as the 0A's. The only 0S's that I know of that have been updated are the ones that come with the Ghost. Maybe someone else here can help out on the accuracy of that.
  20. I imagine that you could find a screen shot of them with long and short noses if you looked long and hard enough. It is animation after all. I'm sure the scales, etc are all over the place a little bit through the entire series. My $.02
  21. Yeah, I picked up a copy because I hadn't seen any version of it yet. It has to be watched at night or you can't see a thing. I was a little confused as to why the Predator "big" ship shed it's little ship and it flew back to earth right away? Why didn't the Preadators send more than one if they were going to go back to earth to kill all the Aliens? Why did the Preadator have to lift a shoulder gun off of a dead Preadator so he could have two? You would think there would be some extras laying around. BUT By the end of the movie I thought it was worth the $18 or whatever I paid for it. It's not very often that Holywood will put out a movie where the spot where the $h!t is going down actually gets nuked.
  22. Too bad, I would have loved to have one of these to fill out my 1/48 collection. I didn't have any contacts in Japan and there is no way I will pay $550 on eBay for one. Oh well. Maybe when they are not "new" anymore auction pricing will level out at something a little more reasonable.
