Yeah, looks like it's about time you add that 19 to your Roy collection. It almost seems naked without it, LOL.
What does the Supernova paint look like? I can't see it in my minds eye. That may be my next custom, everyone seems to like it.
I thought this was a re-release of the Hikaru with the S&S parts. I'm glad it's not. It's about time that they offered these as a set. I hope the come in a special box too, that would be nice. I wish I could be more excited though, I already have one of these Anyone want to sell a special box if there is one?
I comissioned Jung to do a YF-19 Fokker for me based on his incredible work that can be seen in the customs gallery. I know it's not done yet but he sent me a picture of what it looks like so far and I am so excited I had to post it. All it needs now is some more shading and the waterslide decals and it will be ready to rock.
I have always wanted one of these. My favorite livery on my favorite valk. To me it doesn't get much better than this. The question is, what's next. I think I am going to get hooked on this custom thing!
I think it would kind of suck if they did a straight re-issue with no changes. It kind of punishes the people who got it on the first go around. That is assuming it was supposed to be limited edition, which I don't know. If it was not supposed to be limited edition it doesn't matter.
A lot of it depends on how you put them on the stand too. I have mine sitting 45 deg from vertical and even my Ivanof with the loose wings doesn't droop.
Buying toys is one of the dumbest things I do, but every time I walk past my office and see them it puts a smile on my face. That makes it worth every penny.
Nice lookin stuff. I'll have to get a Roy (Gotts get a Roy everything!) and any two seaters that come out. I don't see getting any doubles of my 1/48's though.
I don't know which way it will go. It's probably safe to speculate that the older 1/60 stuff will drop sharply in value as soon as the new stuff is released. Now 10 years down the line the older 1/ stuff could be worth something.
I have seen a few references to people that are planning on selling off of part of their collection because of the introduction of the new 1/60’s. This doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. Wouldn’t you want the old ones and the new ones? Wouldn’t you want to keep the old ones because they are certain to appreciate in value? How cool would it be to have two complete generations?
I am in no position to understand because all I have are 1/48’s and new 1/60’s.
Looks like I will be making this one. Who has directions to the local titty bar? I will be leaving the wife at home to make back the money I am spending
I can't decide if I want to get a couple a CF's so I could pick up the woodland and a Low Vis GBP armor and have something to put them on. Seems like an awfrul lot of money to be able to say "I have every single 1/48". But there is something gnawing at me. Maybe if I sell a few things from the "I don't need anymore pile" on eBay this week I won't feel so bad about it if I do decide to pull the trigger.
Who am I kidding, how could I stop short when I am so close?
I doubt I will get the two GBP sets. The LVII looks sweet in fighter mode so I don't want to mess with that and there is no way I am going to put GBP on one of my LV1's.
I seriously need to do something about some shelves though!
