I unboxed my Titan Power "Not Voltron" yesterday. Yep, this guys is super playable. Fun toy to handle and pose. I really dig the proportions too. I tried a few poses that I saw @Kuma Style had on his site. Couldn't pull them off. I'm not sure how he gets so much hip articulation. I guess that's why he's the pro! I'm really happy with this guy. Especially for the price!

Hey guys. Time for me to look into getting a Xenomorph (or four) for the display cabinets. What would you say are the "go to" option that are 8-12" tall? Thanks!

I started this thread to have an adult and nuanced discussion with my peers about the subject of scalping. Nowhere in my first post did I insinuate that I was planning on scalping (quoted below). We were having a nuanced and informative discussion with no one remotely hot under the collar until you showed up and tried to blow the thread up by hurling a baseless accusation.

I've only purchased one HMR so far (VF-4). What a great little toy. I'm really torn on them as a series though. If I get one more.........then I'm going to need all of them. That would have been a lot more palatable when they were released and the going rate was lower. Right now some of them fetch a pretty big price. I'm not sure I want to go down that rabbit hole.......but I do!

I don't actually blame/judge people that are scalping DX stuff. It's not something that fits with my personal ethics, but I certainly don't see it as wrong or inherently amoral. It's free market Capitalism. In my opinion people that get really bent out of shape over scalpers (not annoyed with them, really hate them) need to decide if they're a Capitalist or not. The shipping isn't too bad considering what it is. First off it's HEAVY. I had to lift one up/down a few times yesterday and no kidding, I think they're 300#+. Secondly, it's BIG with no shipping "crate". It's got to be pretty big crated up. If I were to get one of these new lift gate delivery (assuming you don't have a loading dock) it's only $162 (to my location). Not a bad shipping cost really. It's also not a big percentage of the unit price. That could be looked at as glass half full or half empty. The cases are EXPENSIVE, so the shipping is low by comparison. Man I got a deal on these! I paid $450 per case. They're $1238 per case with the LED lights (halogen is $200 less). They're pretty pricey, but they're really nice and you have a TON of shelf space. Detolfs are great cases and you can't beat the price. I felt that they limited me quite a bit because of how wide they're not which limits a lot of display options. That said, I'm probably going to get two Detolfs for either side of these big gases. The Detolfs have more vertical room (15 3/8" to 15 3/4" depending on what shelf you're on. The big case shelves are at 14.4". That little bit a Detolf has in extra vertical room really makes a difference with some display combinations. For example, I'm going to be using dual Yeti stands to mount lets;'s say two 1/48 VF-1S's with S&S parts. One in Batroid the other in Gerwalk. That extra height of the Detolf is really needed if you want them in an action pose(s).
