    I'm getting it It's huge, articulated, with an articulated pilot, and it will be a lot of fun to build!!! I know that the details inside the cockpit will blow my mind. Although being non transformable, it will consist of a lot of nicely engineered parts. I'm already prepared to take it up my back...

    This is looking really good. Not my favorite valk but I'm definitely in!! As other members previously said the CAD fighter looks good. As long as the front fuselage is angled down, it creates the illusion of a reduced gullet. If this is any indication, the VF-17 will absolutely rock

    Glad I waited, this is the only 1/100 VF-1 I plan to buy. Well, I'll also get Hikaru's VF-1S Strike if it's available and not an exclusive. We need clearer scans

    Sticker them, at least the essential markings!!! The only valks I didn't sticker are the YF-21, VF-22's and the VF-11B (they come with the macross kite tampoed on!!).

    Can somebody post pictures posing it next to Roy's DYRL? VF-1S? I don't like the TV bubble hands so I'm trying to convince myself that the change in color and the black arrow on the head justify getting this version. Already have Roy's DYRL? Strike and his weathered VF-1S.

    I'm on the same boat as you!!! It's starting to grow on me. I'll also show support buying it, to convince Yamato that the VF-17 is an absolute must!!!

    Thank you sir!!! On a more serious note, we can clearly see that Bandai added detents to the arm joints so we shouldn't have the floppy syndrome that plagued the Yamato version!!

    Yes, folding and "sliding" the nosecone down gives more clereance and prevents the chestplate dragging across the nosecone.

    1/60 Regult goodness I want to see how the prototype is coming along. VF-17 as a surprise, like the did years ago with the SV-51 (there were no CAD images nor announcement, straight prototype pics)!!!!

    Great pics Froy!!! You're tempting me to get TV Roy! I thought it was enough with DYRL? Strike Roy and the weathered version but I think I'll add TV Roy to my collection.
