I don't think the Battle 7 will ever get released in full color. Remember the SDF-1 Non-Scaled Resin kit that they have? It's part of the same line. And you know how Arcadia is when it comes to blues. From Macross Mecha Manual:

Looks nice! But is this something that you can attach to the VF's hand to convert it into a 'BFG'? Probably it's going to make the VF-1 or VF-4 looks cool. Hehehe. Just being sarcastic because of the price. But seriously, imagine that attached to a VF-1 GBP.

And glossy too. Comes with black plastic tray. How cool is that, right? IIRC, the first announcement of this product was displayed in Armo-Fighter mode with some yellow tapes on it. Next updates were in Armo-Soldier mode, still with some tapes. And now a colored prototype. I don't recall seeing a prototype in Armo-Diver only on those photo sample sheets the comes with their display. It's Evolution Toys so there's nothing more to say about it. My only wish is that keep the price down or we could just wait for it to end up on sale before getting one or better yet, check reviews first and decide later on. But since I didn't have Legioss figure, I might bite as soon as they put it out on preorders.

That's because Gundam wasn't made with 'song' or 'music' as part of the formula. It just so happened that Macross has that as part of the success that's why it's still carries it up to now. It's the same reason why Gundam shows always use a teenage boy who doesn't want to fight at first and becomes an expert afterwards and eventually end the war. It's just a formula. And the reason why I said 'somehow' popular is because even westerners recognize it as part of Robotech.

Well, not really. Because the term 3rd Party in the toy collection world somehow means 'unauthorized' releases by the original creators/production. When in fact those Sentinel announced Mospeada bikes are authorized by Tatsunoko Production. And just like you mentioned on your first post a 3rd Party Transformers are somehow 1/3 cheaper. That's because they're not paying royalties. And Macross is popular somehow not to the same level as Gundams.

Yes. It is based on the cover of Mospeada Complete Art Works book. Not sure if it's just a one time thing just for the cover. Or Aramaki redesigned the whole group. But the cover shows a 'Ley' type Ride Armor since it carries a gun. Whereas the image that shws in bike mode is probably a Stick type since the face resembles him. Nope. No official date yet on when it's going to get released. This is just a prototype shown at the WonderFest 2017.
