Hey. It’s why I said it needed to be ‘squeezed’. Or we could use some toothpicks as a locking mechanism. Hahaha!

Thanks JVM! Though I’m not sure if I’m going to get it and if it’s worth getting it esp if I’m just going to get some 10mins total of animation.

Anyone tried to remove the 'parting line' on their canopies?

Got it. I agree that the 31's locking mechanism is far more superior than the 25/29's. But I also think that it was depending on how the Valk was designed initially. The 25/29's reminds me of like a sandwich, in which you need to squeeze both ends so tight you don't make a spill.

Quick question on this Special Disc. How long usually the CG clips that comes with it? All the info I find is all in Japanese which I'm not very fluent except for just small hiragana and katakana characters. Would appreciate if someone can add more details of this release. Thanks.

Regarding the chest, I thought all we have to do with the 25/29’s chest lock mechanism is to pull down more the shoulder portion towards the back so everything locks in place?

Most of the shop that sells TWE items requires pay upfront. And some of them like NY requires customers to pay the shipping cost at the time of checkout. Some, don't. So at NY, if you want to order more than one TWE item, better do it the first time since they don't combine shipping to 'close' orders. However, for regular preorder items, they do combine shipping. This is usually happens with TWE items at NY.

Bandai doesn’t need to release Arad’s 31A. All they need to release are 31S’, 31E’s, and 31A’s Super Parts. Period. What say you, Bandai?

That’s a nice custom. But I’m lazy. Or you can support our very own @jenius for his reviews and transformation videos on his Anymoon website.

They also didn't include this. Image courtesy of Macross Mecha Manual.

We were there Thanksgiving week. And we went to Shinjuku/Akihabara area, days after the release date I think. On a side note though, I got overwhelmed at Bic Camera. The whole floor full of collectibles. So overwhelmed, I didn't know what to get. So I ended not getting anything for me. Hahaha! Let's not forget... years of making diecast plane toys, they're still using bare metals.

I like my Godzilla on top of a building that makes sound and lights every hour. -
Same here. Being a Filipino, it's embarrassing to admit that the only Voltes V figure I have is the SoC FA release, and the recent released Action Toys mini combiner figure. For the price of the 40th Anniv SoC figure going for nowadays, I rather use that on the DX SoC one. That is assuming the price is going to be the same as the previous Combattler set.
