    Thanks @sjoebarry. But this is actually the Toynami rebranded of the Beagle figure which most of us here have. Thanks @Ignacio Ocamica! This is the first time I've seen this photos. It has that Gakken and Aoshima kit vibe to it design-wise. As much as I love the Beagle release and the stylized Sentinel release, I'm still looking forward to something that resembles close to the lineart, if not, resembles the old toy styling. Bulky looking but can still be mounted to the bike very nicely and not like Gakken's 1/8 figure. @jenius has this photo from his Gakken 1/20 Armor Bike review which he uses with CM's Brave Gokin Ride Armor figure. Which I think looks nice together. Has that lineart feel to it. Hope when Sentinel decides to do the classic design, they do something like this.

    Thanks @jenius! I guess, that's why Scott's head looks familar on that video. I didn't know this prior. Thanks! Any chance you know where I can find some atleast clearer photos of this? I'm curious on the overall form. It really looks close as how 'Cyclone' lineart is.

    So true. Atleast back then, Yamato saturated the market with different VF-1 variants. Letters and colors. Almost two decades after, it's just VF-1J.

    Sad to say it's already past July 21st. Nada for DYRL 40th Anniv. Maybe in 10 years? I'm pretty sure they're going to tease an SDF-1 in their Golden Anniversary Celebration only to become vaporware again.

    Hey guys. I have a question. Someone posted this on Facebook in one of the comments on the photo posts above. He mentioned that it supposed to be the 'Masterpiece' Cyclone prior of Toynami rebranding the Beagle release. It looks closely to Gakken's proportion but I think it's a transformable one. I can't remember if I already read something about it before or probably forgotten about it since it's been 16 years. Can someone refresh my head about this prototype? Thanks!

    Love this shot. Question for everyone who have it. What's the painted part on the chest, the orange or the beige? I only asked because if it's orange, I'm worried about the area where the backpack portion hits the chest and it might do some paint scratching down the line. Thanks.

    True. But this is not something new from Bandai nor from any other companies that spends a lot of money on R&D and creating molds. If they can max out the profit by using the same molds, why not? It's tiring to see the same thing but that's how business goes. Atleast with this 'repeated' stuff, if you're not interested, atleast you have the time to replenish your budget.

    I wouldn't mind getting another 1/60 VF-1J if Arcadia is going to retool theirs to create VF-1J Macross The First version and start from there for the other MTF designs.
