I really wish Bandai went with just doing a whole new movie with fresh animation. With all the advances in CG (like in the Gundam Evolove episodes) they should've blended CD and traditonal animation much like in Mac-0 or Blue Sub 6....It'd bring a younger audience that'd look to the original series after watching the movie (or OVA)...In a way this sounds much like how Bandai got a large following once the 3 Gundam movies were released. I guess Bandai is trying to get people more into the older Gundam shows. I just really hope they don't make it into some kind of pansy anime (Zeta was very dark and not a "pansy" anime). I just hope Bandai doesn't totally botch up the series

BEE-Craft did the illustration for those, if I recall. you know...that's kind of surprising that Katoki didn't work on a model kit of a figure he designed himself (master gundam) you would think bandai would give him that to do at least

A Dixie valk would rock....but it might look too much like a low vis, with so much Grey... It can be painted in a high viz orange with the rebel flag across the top of it. It's number would be 01. That wouldn't work because there woudln't be any way to slide into the cockpit without opening the canopy. LMAO!!!!

I thought Katoki was Bandai's main MG designer I thought he had his hands in every MG kit that's coming out now. I guess I was wrong then.

i don't think the 1/100 scale astray looks THAT bad the astray just looks like that, even in the line art ...but i wouldn't mind seeing what katoki's spin off of the astray would look like (i mean, what i'd look like in MG form)
