    My vote goes for Nu-Bee Ess Gee. The original miniseries was quite enjoyable, as was the first half of the first season. But once it became apparent that the show runners didn't have any clue what was going to happen I knew it wouldn't work for me. The actors were quite good, but the pedestrian and predictable story just nauseated me. The only thing could have made the show worse was if the lead characters all hooked up in their predictable pairings... and guess what happened? Yuck. Also, I need to cast my vote for Geewun Transformers. I tried to rematch it and couldn't make it through the first episode without pausing and groaning. Maybe we should make it a drinking game?

    From what I remember, that's where the live-action TV series is going to fit in. I haven't heard anything about that moving forward as a project, though.

    Okay, I'm having a bit of a brain block at its annoying me. I've had Transformers on the brain for a few weeks now, reading their bios and TFWiki entries and such, but I can't find any info on a specific group. I came across them years back and can't find them any more; they're a group of animal-based transformers and the blurb I read cited them as Primus' prototype transformer, his first attempt to finalize the process before shutting down. Anyone have any idea what they are? Also, has any more information about MP Rodimus Prime been released yet? That might be my first MP toy, and my first TF toy in decades.

    You pretty much hit on the head. I'm a Zentradi when it comes to computers; I can only use them. I went with the full Diagnostic/Repair/AV Installation because it was long over due. I had been running without AV since I bought the box and it was time. I paid $250 for the DRA and $100 for a 1 TB drive. Still cheaper than a whole new 'box, though.

    So I took my desktop into the Geek Squad for answer and they told me that my HDD was totally borked and needed to be thrown over the balcony. It was more expensive than I wanted to pay, but it's better than not having a desktop. And I came thiiiiiiiiiiis close to just buying a whole new box Thanks for all the help before, people.

    No MagicISO or anything like that. The last program I installed was the iPad converter software linked above. Chkdsk reports that the volume cannot be tested and asked if .I wanted to schedule one for the next reboot. No to SP1 and I get the task manager when I ctr-alt-del. Would pitching the computer over my balcony do any good?

    I use a DVI outport on my video card, then hook it through a DVI to VGA connecter into TV's VGA port. I've never had any luck installing drivers on my computers. (It's kind of like trying to drive around Richmond BC without getting lost. Maddening!). So could you walk me through it?

    Sadly, no. That would've been my first choice, but no go. I was hoping you most intelligent of people would have a magic wand to wave and make it all better for me. This is most frustrating.

    Desktop. Since the picture works in safe mode and when I hit ctr-alt-del I suspect it has something to do with my resolution, but I'm not sure.

    HELP! I need help, oh most knowledgeable of net-izens! In a bid to make more space in my media room, I unhooked everything and moved it all around. Getting back to normal should be as simile as rehoming everything and back at it, right? WRONG! I use my 46 bravia LCD panel as my monitor, but I'm not getting any image. More specifically, I'm running Windows Vista and I get the loading screen and the sliding bar filling up. Then the screen goes blank and all I can see is the mouse cursor. ctr-alt-del brings me to the manager screen just fine, and the task manager pops up cleanly. Booting up in safe mode also works fine, and I see everything as I should (except for the image being squashed into 640x480). How can I fix this and restore sanity to my world?

    This film still looks like crap. It looks like it'll change too much of the established canon, which is one of my complaints against AvP.
