  1. neutered stacks...WHY????!!!! GRRRRRR!!! the earlier post showing the transformation clearly showed short stacks. good god, did hasbro not learn anything from their G1 reissue?! fans want their stacks long!!! this toy is for collectors, dammit!!!
  2. the funny thing here is that most of us have probably seen evangelion, from the tv series to the movies, and that thing is just as confusing if not more so than revolutions. not to mention A LOT of other anime series that are open ended, or don't answer all of their questions. we are willing to forgive a lot when it's anime, but make it live action... not a dis of anime, just an observation.

    1:60 GBP-1 !?

news of the 1/60 GBP is great! and yes, Yamato can't win because i also think the hands seem rather large. i will personally wait until the 1/48 version though. why? (based purely on speculation): 2 WORDS. REMOVEABLE MISSLES. c'mon Yamato! you can do it!
  4. shin_ you're absolutely right, the ladder IS internal. i was just thinking that if you were going to do a ladder, at least make it as cool as the one Montarvillois used from his f14 kit. speaking of which, how cool would that have been if yamato had made a working internal ladder, or at least an add on/clip on that simulated it? and ChristopherB, that diorama kicks much ass. ouch! do you have any other shots?
  5. And make sure to put it in a box 100 times it's size!
  6. There she is! Thanks for the bigger pic, Toonz. 0Coota0, i agree, it was definitely great that Toynami added the ladder. I even like the light up eye to be honest. I just wish they had paid more attention to detail is all. As it is, it kinda looks like a swimming pool ladder to me. But that's just my opinion. Hear that Yamato? Where's my 1/48 ladder?!
  7. BTW, no offense to anyone who owns and enjoys their MPC, but IMHO the ladder used by Montarvillois from his f14 kit is killer and shows just how little thought Toynami put into their MPCs.
  8. absolutely insane. way cool, guys. the details make all the difference. don't know if this has been asked already, but has anyone tried to duplicate the back of the old bandai 1/55 strike-valkyrie box? that'd be so sweet to see it updated in 1/48 scale.
  9. cool. no one had them on wednesday, right?
  10. now if the would only do a lo-viz fleet! 1S + 1J to add to the 1A. i can see it now... ...my wallet crying...
  11. panel lines are sweet PERIOD . pronounced or subtle, it's a personal choice. me? i like subtle.
  12. anyone know if the regulars at frank and sons has them?
  13. fantastic, but yes, you have to cut them yourself.
  14. MACROSS - 1/55 Elintseeker + Strike Valkyrie NON-MACROSS - (Japanese) Spiral Zone Monoseed WHY - Nostalgia, meet Great Toys. Great Toys, meet Nostalgia. Got them with my pop at Pony Toy Go Round in Little Tokyo when I was a kid. ah...memories...
  15. sadly, just one set here. my valks will have to fight for it!
  16. I didn't get the first run of figures, so the FP version was perfect for me. Although to be honest, I did have a QC-problem in that the arm already had a stress BREAK on when i opened the box... damn yamato QC... at least my 1/48s are all good.
  17. I'm only barely aware of the whole HG situation... Is it that big of a deal? Are they that sue - crazy?
