Looks nice, but the legs on that review make them look pretty weird. Especially the upper knee lower thigh area. The legs overall look small... I just hope it's the camera angle. I may go with the 2nd production run. -=X -

Yes I agree with Valkyrie addict. The valk that's on the box is that of wm cheng's 1/72 YF-21 Hasegawa. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...f=23&t=1457 ***EDIT*** Nice photoshop effort. Makes it look real good. XD -
I agree. The narrow chest makes it look a bit feminine. ***EDIT*** h/e, the armored version does seem to bulk it up a bit and reminds me of gundam.
-
Woah... The Revos for the 19, 21 and even the Regult are hot. ***EDIT*** I think they put a pin point barrier on the 21's tailfin on it's forearm as well for that battle scene.
-
Looks like a pretty good match from the looks of it.
-
Nice!!! Keep em coming!!! -=]

Nice work Anthony! Keep the pics coming. -=]

They both look nice.

Wow! If the productions are actually that color... I can see myself making the modding components for a VF-22S. XD

1/60 YF-19 Gerwalk Locking Chest Mod
PsYcHoDyNaMiX replied to Lonely Soldier Boy's topic in The Workshop!
Nice mod for the gerwalk mode. -=] -
I think misterryno meant to ask a more general question about the 1/60 and not to the ghost in particular (which should belong to a different thread). The answer to the question about the 1/60 scale figs is: The Macross Zero series is unlike the DYRL 1/60 series. The Macross Zero series 1/60 figs have a metal swing bar somewhat similar to the 1/48 line. Unlike the DRYL 1/60 figs where you literally have to pull out the legs and attach them to the fuselage for battroid mode. Hope that helps clarify any speculation.

That's pretty DAMN nice!!!

1/72 YF-21/VF-22 Hasegawa Battroid Conversion

Payment Information, etc under the "For Sale & Trade" section. -
They most likely were using the first version of the VF-0S. Yamato does that alot. Take the VF-0a Shin version for instance. They used a repaint of the VF-0a CF.

Nah... I'm pretty sure you're no idiot. I recall mine at first was pretty tough to extend out, but eventually I got it. I think one of them was partially glued too. It might've been over glued by their crazy factory workers. Well you can also try this... loosen the screw on the inner thigh which holds it together. ***EDIT*** Oh yea to note... the blurry hind knee pictured only had four notches out to the split from the upper thigh. I actually had one more notch to go and wasnt pictured. So It should extend to a total of five full notches out to the split (knee swivel) from the upper thigh.

Who stated that there was a different paint scheme? o.O
-
Yea the trick to that is you need to bend the knee joint as much as possible while using the knee pads (covers) to provide some resistance for the knee swivels to keep them from swinging into a split. ***EDIT*** I'll provide a pic when I get the chance:

XD YF-19 Poses from Macross the Movie (according to timeline order): Yes one of them is upside down... I don't have the clear flex display stand, so I ended up improvising. XD Another pic is a double, but couldnt decide which one was better. When I get a better background setup I'll retake the pics.

@ sqidd... I believe you might've missed a step for the legs in gerwalk mode. There is another ratchet feature that allows the gerwalk mode to get the "nose down" angle. Check back in the manual. The ratchet is in the lower part of the thigh above the knee swivel. Thats why you might've not seen it. ***EDIT*** reference pic... Pictured here in the second and third transformation step from fighter to gerwalk: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...dh-may-o6-1.jpg

1/72 YF-21/VF-22 Hasegawa Battroid Conversion
PsYcHoDyNaMiX replied to PsYcHoDyNaMiX's topic in Model kits
Unfortunately I was unable to get the extra time to develop the joints for this kit. I was hoping to get around to it, but seeing as casting for my first time took a bit I wasn't able to get around to converting the kit and making recasts of those parts (esp. when school was starting). If you guys beat me to it I'll be looking foward to the threads/posts here on the forums. -=] Max ***EDIT*** Aside from that seeing how the kit was made it's quite possible (easy) to convert it into a joint kit. Just get a couple of Kotobukiya joint sets and just carve or drill some extra grooves in the correct locations and it's converted. -
VF-0a Shin type or CF? ***EDIT*** Oh yea... BTW damn that really sucks. Feel for your loss. -=X

Here's another update... Alright... awaiting to complete a members list, send out confirmation PM's, shipping info, a couple of more cds (for instructions, reference pics), totals and payments. Payment Plans: I will be taking PayPal and Postal Money Orders; sorry no checks. I will take PayPal under the circumstances that the payment sender will cover the PayPal fee (I think it's 4% correct me if I'm wrong). It may not look like much, but here they are 20 kits in a box:
