Right, but looking at the shape of the legs, it seems to me that this is taking design cues from their Hi-Metal line, if so, that may give us a clue as to what the fighter mode will look like.

The legs and feet thrusters look to me an awful lot like their Hi-Metal 1/100 VF-1's. Makes me wonder if we're going to see elements of the 1/100's fighter mode assuming that this actually does transform. Can anymore post a comparison pic between the Hi-Metal 1/100's battroid mode and this picture?

Still all in on the OS, gonna get this one as it seems to be accurately painted, and there's more molded in color plastic as opposed to the Shin OA.

My 1S is still there at HLJ, still waiting for the payment request. I don't have any of my 1/60's anymore, so I'm going in on the 1/100's. Got Roy on pre-order, and am waiting on the 1A canon fodder and especially the Super O.

They will most likely be using VF-25's. Remember, in 2059, the SMS was field testing the VF-25's and they were supposed to be the successor to the VF-171. As of 2067, it's only been 8 years, surely the VF-25 isn't already obsolete by then, that would be ridiculous. -
I wonder how the Vf-31 would look in Ozma's colors, I bet it would be awesome.

Depending on availability (This IS Bandai after all) and price, if it's expensive enough, I'd cancel my VF-0S and VF-4G pre-orders for it. The last remaining thing I'm waiting on other than the two aforementioned things, is fighter mode. If it sucks, Bandai can kiss my balls. But if it's great, then there isn't much I wouldn't do to make sure I have this. As far as gimmicks are concerned, I'd gladly trade the visor light for a lit up instrument panel.

From what I'm seeing, I'm pretty optimistic about the fighter mode. The price/release date/availability is the only thing that has me worried.

Honestly, I was wondering the same thing. Actually, what he said was he wanted to see half of the characters in each poster killed off by the end of the series.
