  1. Damn, Nin-Nin is now up to $254.07
  2. They better not pull that crap, I used Paypal, I'll get my money back if they try pulling those shenanigans.
  3. Nin-Nin is still up
  4. Got mine at Nin-Nin!
  5. Already made a WTB thread, I know I ain't getting one through preorder, LOL.
  6. I already figured I'd have to get this on the secondary market, so it's no surprise that things are turning out this way.
  7. getting cart jacked at amiami
  8. Same, what a bunch of horsecrap, I'm glad that I didn't stay up for this and that this is my normal getting up time, LOL.
  9. Due to the odd hours I keep nowadays, I usually get up around 1:30 in the morning, so at least this time I don't have to deal with staying up all night, lol.
  10. I wouldn't worry, I don't think Yamato, Arcadia, or Bandai have ever screwed up a paint scheme to that degree, let alone Roy's.
  11. Ah, you're right +1 hour ahead, not behind, D'Oh!
  12. I'm in the central time zone, so for me I'm pretty sure that would be 2 AM, so on the east coast it would be 1 AM.
  13. After looking up more pics of fighter mode, I have to admit, it's the best fighter mode made yet, it's not even close. Tempted to try and get this on the secondary market, but the shadow version is the one I really want.
  14. Going to be right there with the rest of you for the blood bath, if I can't get one, I'll post a WTB on the forums while looking for any other chances to get one. I will also be wanting the Hikaru version of this as well. VF-1D will also be an insta buy as well as any stealth/low-vis paint versions of the VF-1.
  15. I thought it was the Firefox at first too til I saw the video title, lol.
  16. Another one that can fly... Another VF-1 that's more accurate overall (Though a but squarish, it does keep the lower leg fins) with thrust vectoring which I don't believe the first one I showed had : To keep this more on topic, here's one that was built for Phoenix R/C simulator...maybe someone could build a Legioss fighter mode and give it a whirl there?
  17. Well, we know that the VF-1 will fly for sure, with some modifications : You are right, with enough thrust, you can make just about anything fly, but I wonder if the wings on the Legioss are big enough to generate enough lift...
  18. Fighter mode looks great, but that gap between the wing and the upper shoulder is super annoying, IMHO. But then again, even if the fighter mode was perfect, I'd seriously doubt this thing could actually fly in real life.
  19. ...You're absolutely right, I had forgotten that Yamato was restored to it's original configuration. D'Oh!
  20. My God...I'd be LIVID. I can only imagine how you must be feeling.
  21. You're right for the most part, I'm not sure about Yamato's second main shock cannone, but Yamato's smaller 3rd shock cannon behind it can fire straight forward and will clear the top of Yamato's bow. The second main shock cannon is too close for me to be able to tell, and I've got the GX-86 right here in front of me. *Edit* after looking at it carefully, I think the second main shock cannons can clear Yamato's front bow, but just barely.
  22. Found these on Facebook from Google searching Space Battleship Yamato 2205 mecha : Not sure how legit they are though...
  23. LOL. I am curious, what will the 2205 Yamato look like? Will it still be in final battle configuration from 2202? One thing that I did not like was the AA guns on the main shock cannons themselves. I could immediately see issues with that, and an online review of the 1/1000 bandai kit proved me right. If you try doing a broad side, and you turn those turrets, the gun barrels will clip the AA turrets. Very bad design choice, IMO. Even Bandai seemed to be aware of it as they give you an option to build the pre-final battle shock cannons, LOL. I'm guessing this is part of the reason Bandai didn't release an SOC final battle version. I'm hoping the 2205 Yamato will atleast delete those AA guns off the shock cannons. Speaking of SOC, I wonder why Bandai didn't release a 2202 Andromeda? Seems like that would have sold really well.
  24. I forgot to mention that I do have one issue with mine though which is apparently a widespread issue as I have seen this in many online reviews : There is a small section that's several shades lighter than the rest of the model in front of the port catapult launcher, this seems to be on many of the 2202 Yamato's and it's the only fault I could find on mine. It's not a deal breaker, but I am surprised to see so many get out the door, though. Oh, one last thing I'd like to mention is the anchors that you put on either side of the bow. Someone in this thread lost theirs because it fell out, that's because they don't stay in there very well. I lost one too, but noticed it quickly and took my shoes off so I could feel it if I stepped on it which I ended up doing, but it was only bent slightly, so it was easy to straighten back out. If I had been wearing shoes, I would have broken it for sure because I wouldn't have felt it in time before it broke. I ended up using glue to keep them in, as I don't really care about the rocket anchors with the chains gimmick, but I DO CARE about losing either anchor or both, that is a much bigger deal. The 2199 GX-64 that I had did not have this issue, so this may be another widespread issue. This isn't a dealbreaker for me either. I still stand by what I said when I said that if you can get this, you should even if you have the 2199 version.
  25. Fighter mode looks about as good as it's ever going to get without making a non-transformable version. Maybe Harmony Gold will get Calibre Wings to make one, they are doing "Macross Saga" Robotech afterall, lol. I'm going to wait for a shadow version, that's my favorite paint scheme out of them all.
