  1. Same here, it's the only reason I decided to take a chance at all.
  2. Is it pay now or later?
  3. If you don't get your item, Paypal will generally side with the buyer and refund the money.
  4. You'd have to pull his head out of his ass first though, just saying.
  5. LOL. It's too late to regret now, just see about getting another preorder that will let you pay later in the mean time to hedge your bets, that's what I'm trying to do. Worst comes to worst, we buy once at inflated prices and cry once and chalk it all up to experience.
  6. I kinda raised my eyebrows at the Paypal exchange fees too, but said frakk it, as long as I get what I ordered, I wasn't in the mood to argue with the ongoing pre-order bloodbath happening all around me.
  7. Aye, as long as we actually GET the damned thing when it comes out.
  8. I guess they thought "Oh crap, we don't have anymore Roy's, lets substitute a used Hikaru instead!" Even then, that's still hard to believe anyone would think that would fly. Pun intended. Not to mention that the preorder was still up last I checked.
  9. LOL, if it ends up being a POS, I'll just get a used 1/60 V2 used here or elsewhere and not bother since I'd like to have at least one PT version of Roy's 1S.
  10. If my bank rejects it, I won't bother disputing it, I'll just get it elsewhere. Even if I have to pay more.
  11. OK, that's just plain stupid, do they really think they could get away with that?
  12. If this one from Bandai pulls that crap, or anything else equally ridiculous, I'll just stick to my fighter mode only Calibre Wings Roy 1S and never look back.
  13. You and me both, first thing I will be checking for is that along with the skulls on the tailfins to make sure they're printed straight, that was a thing with Yamato and their 1/48's - their 1/60 V2's as I recall.
  14. OOF. That sucks.
  15. Not me, if they screw me, I'm done with them, I don't give second chances.
  16. Never going to happen, that's not how Bandai rolls with their Macross releases.
  17. Like I said, I'll start a thread on them near release date so we can see who got theirs and who had to get their money back. It should be very interesting.
  18. Huh. I guess we'll see if my bank rejects it as it's the main payment that I'm using for Paypal right now.
  19. Apparently not. Really puzzling, I would have loved to have been able to sit in on their release discussion just to know where their heads were at when they made that decision. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say their heads were about here :
  20. Damned good question. I was asking the same thing, you'd think that making a 2202 Andromeda would have been a no brainer, looks like we're going to have to wait and see if they do a 2205 Andromeda. Was shocked they did a Soul of Chogokin GX-89 Garmillas Warship instead. Space Battleship Yamato 2205 will be coming out late this year, BTW.
  21. Gonna be real interesting to see who gets theirs vs who doesn't. Might even start a thread on it near release day to see who got a shipping notice and who didn't.
  22. Freaking amazing to be frank. Motorized turrets, lights, sounds, and voice files now, more detail like the Bandai models have and even the decks have the wooden like color as in the anime. No side opening doors to show the hangar, probably due to the turret motors taking up room. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best SOC Yamato to date. Bandai has consistently stepped up their game with each new release. I cannot wait to see what they come out with for Yamato 2205.
  23. Yeah, I was able to score a like new SOC GX-86 for under $300, new they're around $350 and up before shipping, geez...
