how can you not love the mk.14? the M14 platform is a classic.

odd choice considering that only 6 of them were ever fielded for evaluation. Mk. 14 mod 0 is a nice touch though.

as of right now all the good VF-4 kits are out of production and usually very expensive on auction sites. there used to be a decent Japanese recast of the club-M but that's out of print too. the only kit still being made is the ultra crappy Monsters in Motion recast of the club-M kit.

SO COOL!!! must get one of these, I hope it takes a while to come out though since I've already got all my spending planed out for the next 3 months. I'm also liking the EX-Gear.

except the F-35 isn't a direct successor to the F-14, and is arguably inferior in some areas. now take the F-22 compared to the F-15. the F-22 has equal or better performance than the F-15 and the F-22 is almost as long, a hair wider and 7.5 tones heavier than the F-15

maybe because the blue looks cool and less generic?

oh yeah, I remember that one. someone on here was doing a detail up build on one of these. they're really bare bones out of the box and made mostly out of ceramics.

it'll be nice to see the new armor in a non clear plastic. it's hard to make out any detail with the clear plastic.

people tend to slam the jet from stealth because it looks like someone ran over a platypus then dunked it in matte black paint. I actually like some zoids, they were stupid but they look cool. except for the one's that looked like apes and snails. why would you make a mech that looks like a SNAIL?!? and thanks to this thread I'm now seriously considering getting a command wolf and a Geno Breaker

I went and redid all the shading, so here it is again...

I never saw it that way, the massive lips gave them a very goofy appearance. deffinately more amusing then unnerving (until the whole dismembering and eating of other Giant robots part anyways) I think we need more of that in anime actually, more disturbing mecha cannibalism. fair enough. although I think Resiklo should be excluded form this thread; if you let them in there's really no discussion any more.
