I've got to say, that is the WORST head sculpt I've seen on a Sheryl figure yet. also it's a resin kit I hate building those. You had me worried for a second, I was starting to regret ordering the Megahouse Sheryl before it' even released. (I would love a Sheryl figure in her "star date" outfit, but not this one)

I resemble that... wait anyways, If someone like say Kurk was willing to do this: to a Valk and I could afford it, I'd have my YF-21 in a shipping box ready to be dropped off at the post office TONIGHT. unfortunately I really cant afford $200-$300 for a paint Job on top of the price of the toy.

I think it would help if they didn't have the nose sticking out and angled forward they way they do. That's not how it is in the lineart and there's really no reason to do it like that. They really should have done a better job positioning the lower torso, it looks like the whole things falling over. Also I HATE what they did with the lower legs/nacelles. Basically if the toy fallows the line art closer it should be better looking overall.

actually I'd take Yui from K-On! on anything, heck I'd get the whole set if they did one for each character.

You know, as poorly thought out as this thread was, this guy might be on to something. Think about it: Big West, Yamato, and Namco get together, they strike a licensing deal, yamato slaps these schemes on a valk... Instant holiday exclusives! And while where at it, they can make IM@S valks! I don't care if everyone else hates it, I would sell my soul, right kidney and most of my liver for a Haruka VF-22

Because blu-ray players are still sh*t-f*cking expensive and so are the individual disks. And besides the fact that only a small percentage of TV's in homes right now can even take advantage of the marginal improvement in clarity, there are plenty of people who do have HDTV's that aren't willing to pay the ridiculous premiums for marginal improvement in picture quality and nine thousand hours of shitty special features. When a blu-ray player sells for under $100 and a movie retails for $10, then maybe.

something I've tried before that worked (on the one occasion I tried it) was to decal, then spray it with strait future. after about a week, I went over the glossy future coat with Testors dullcote. -

Because Veritech is a word made up for Robotech (which IS NOT Macross). In the English dubs of SDF:M, Macross Plus, and Macross II they're referred to as Valkyrie's and some times variable fighters, Never "veritechs"

how about you buy both and have them shipped to me. Then I'll give them each the once over, decide which one you'd like better than send that one to you along with reimbursement for the other toy (minus a small service fee)

probebly why it was never seen again. well it can't transform to fighter in any case. (gets in the way of the shield and the leg and the other arm.)

but it's bigger than a hase kit. And you don't have to build it. And it's physically impossible to make the legs any thicker and still have a half way decent fighter mode. And It looks damn good in battroid even with the thin legs. And if you like your toy's all fat and bloated like trailer trash at MacDonald, that's your problem.

I'm just going to come right out and say this: this sucks. I like the M&M 1J's, I do want these and I never got the 1/48's so even better, but why freakin' october?!? So that's 4 valk+FAST pack combo's in 2 months... damn you Yamato. after the delayed VT-1, the VE-1, the LV Roy, etc. etc. I would have liked a LITTLE break, maybe wait till december for another release volley.
