    A thought on the lack of "heads" on certain deluxe gobots. I'm not sure how true this is for the other figures, but Psycho had a clearly visible chromed figure sitting in the drivers seat. It makes to toy look less like a robot with a strange not-head, and more like a piloted mech with cockpit for a head.

    They sell out their entire production run of every release of the VF-25, so clearly they're not loosing money on the mold.

    While $4 my have the same buying power in 1983 as $10 today, it doesn't mean a toy that was profitable at $4 in 1983 could be manufactured, distributed and sold for $10 today. The cost of labor, materials and transportation between then and now has gone up significantly more than just basic inflation rate. :edit: also, Aren't the only ones that sold for $4 the little carded ones? those things are tiny as hell. They're not even half the size of a typical modern deluxe.

    Personally, I like the idea of the one-piece tan lines. They're more unique, and they also imply that she usually wears a much more modest swimsuit which makes the skimpier bikini and/or nudity cuter and sexier. but by the same token, her expression and pose kind of throw off that impression since she seems quite happy and excited to be prancing around in little to no clothing. A more demure, slightly embarrassed expression would have been nice but you can't really expect that much from a repaint. the more I look at it though, the more I like the way her face looks with the lighter complexion. I'm not sure why, and I actually like the eyes on the tanned face since for some reason they chose to make her eyes a brighter blue instead of the purple-grey of the regular release.

    that's simultaneously the best looking toy of G1 Megatron ever done, and yet it still looks kind of dumpy. I've come to the conclusion that G1 Megatron is simply not that cool looking.

    Everything that people ever come up with in threads like this are totally outside the realm of ever actually happening. Personally, I'd be interested in a Bandai VF-1 as long as they can make it look good next to their VF-25's. I like the specific aesthetic commonalities that run across the existing DX chogokin valks (VF-25's. YF-29's, VF-171 and YF-30's). as good as the VF-1's from Yamato are, they just look off next to Bandai valks just do to the materials and sculpting choices Yamato chose to make. I'm not saying either are bad, they're just different. But I would like to have a more homogeneous collection, and I like my VF-25's more than any other valk, so I'm using that as my standard. I'm excited for the YF-19 advanced even though I've got a YF-19 for this very reason. The YF-19 arcadia is a great toy, and it fits with the Yamato YF-21 and VF-11B for a perfect Mac+ display. but I can't put them anywhere near my VF-25's even though I want to.

    I have actually had someone tell me in a face to face conversation that they only play PC because they consider 60FPS or lower completely unplayable.

    I guess I forgot to mention that. She's cute, but I don't get what the thing between her breasts is supposed to be. That and I have no idea who she is.

    honestly, even though I have it, I'm really tempted to buy a second one. the one I have is missing the super massive and inverted nipple breasts parts.

    I generally dislike A+ figures, they tend to be too large, expensive, and fragile while their paintwork and sculpts are not nearly enough to justify the downsides, but this looks surprisingly good. http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-009129&page=top
