    The only "Metal Build" I have at the moment is the Origin RX-78 and it didn't come with an aerial stand, just a flat base it can stand on. Other than that the 78 is great, you can switch between the early, mid and late war configurations or mix em up. I'd say it's a must if you are a big fan of the origin design.

    I love those Lil Drakens, I'll probably just leave them flying around the 262 instead of stuck on the wings. Now all we need is confirmation on a sword and a swappable one piece shield, don't let us down Bandai!

    Somewhat sad news today, Swery65 announced he's retiring from Access Games for the time being. He was the writer and director for Deadly Premonition and D4, both are great games with no equal.     Still nothing, it'll probably be included with the Lil Drakens and fast packs when that set pops up. I don't remember 100% but I think the sword came out of the golden piece on the front of the lower leg

    I'm always amazed how expensive the VF-11s are when I think back to when they were dirt cheap a little after they came out. I've never heard of the 11 having an exploding foot or anything really wrong with that toy besides the heat shield being a bit fiddly to keep together.

    Good news on the Nora version is that they tightened up some of the joints..... and made a few too tight as I recall.

    So Gundam the Origin is a retelling of the original series based on the manga written a few years back by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. The best way I could describe it is that the origin is a more realistic retelling of the original story, in it Guntanks and Guncannons have been around for a while but aren't as good as a regular Zaku so the federation has to surpass them with the Gundam. Whitebase isn't equipped with just three mobile suits, it has a whole squad of Guntanks and Guncannons to back up the Gundam. The four movies that are out now actually take place a few years before the main story and deal with Char's origin story from child to adulthood. I wouldn't say that the origin is replacing the canon of the original series, it's just another interpretation. The movies are definitely worth a watch and the manga is worth a read, it got a great US release with hardcovers. As a UC fan I'd recommend it to you.

    Nice! Megs has a ton of upper body chunk and some really long legs which isn't perfect but who cares cause battle damaged details! The movie battle damaged stuff is probably enough to sell me on this thing but I will wait to see how the transformation works before I place a pre-order.

    Just get a third mortgage and buy a bunch of Arcadia and Bandai valks. The resale market on Macross toys is going up up up, there's no way the bubble will burst .

    E-Sports ! It's a pretty interesting concept, I'm not a big Nintendo guy so I'm content with waiting to see how it pans out. With all the on the go versatility this will have to be 4G capable unless you have a wireless hotspot with you at all times. Don't get so hopeful for third party support though, they said the same thing for the WiiU as well but accomplished nothing.

    I'm sure someone will make a shapeways plate that can mount to one of the exposed missile hardpoints to cover the exposed wings from the front so that's not really a big deal. The only thing really off about the reactive armor to me is that the shoulder missiles pods are a hair too wide but it's not enough for me to curse Arcadia's name.

    I want one of those HG ZZ's after that review. Such a clever design for the time, it would be fun to have one sitting next to my tryon 3 (or better yet make the old kit into a tryon 3 to get that old chogokin look).

    Oh I wasn't saying that the Sazabi isn't worthy of getting the PG treatment (the Sazabi is one of my favorite MS designs), just that it would likely never happen. It's an old design and Bandai likes to keep things current with the PG line. They made a lotta bank with the PG Unicorn and Banshee and I suspect they are a taste of what is to come with the PG line. The Sazabi doesn't have that many gimmicks and extra doodads so they can't cash in with extra armor parts, weapon packs and LED add on packs. I could see a PG Nu Gundam getting made eventually, so many options for add on parts and the possibility of retooling it into the Hi-Nu with the same inner frame. I really hope they do go nuts and make a PG Sazabi (and PG Z'Gok).

    At this point we will probably never get one. I'd guess the next PG could be a Barbatos since IBO seems to be popular at the moment, they could even get an armor swap gimmick going like with the GP-01.

    The SV-262 is probably the best thing to come out of Delta so I'll probably be here with you guys waiting on the pre-orders (if I remember to stay up ). So who are the usual suspects? HLJ, CDJapan, AmiAmi and Nippon Yasan? Any other big stores I missed that we should keep eyes on?

    Well that sure was an ending to a 26 episode show! It was just ok which I guess could be said for the whole Delta series. I don't think the ending really lived up to the final episodes of the other series but it still had some fun moments. It was a supercharged remake of the Mac 7 ending with less fun and more naked people. I didn't have a bad time watching Delta and other than lady M being Minmay (probably) it didn't really trample on the rest of the series so I'm cool with this being a strange side story like Mac Zero. Well I guess it's time to re-watch the other series and wait for a new OVA or movie.

    I like that we are getting a F91 MB but at the same time I'm a little confused by the design decisions. I guess they had Okawara go back and redesign it a bit for the new MB but something just feels off, this F91 is almost too angular with weird ridges all over the original sleek design. The sideskirts are pointy, the shoulders have this weird raise around the insignias, the chest comes to a point where it used to be a flat edge and the VSBRs are kind of a mess near the top. Mini rant over and at the end of the day I'll probably still get this since I love the F91s overall design.
