Roy VF-1S has cracks on both. The shiny cockpit coating also bubbled and flaked off.

This, and make the rest of the Destroids. Then I might consider purchasing them.

The Plan was a huge disappointment for me. It isn't terrible, but I preferred the ambiguity that the series itself left to all of the actions that Cavil had the different Cylons carry out.

Question, guys. Does the Hikaru 1J have the fixes or not? I'm going to have to wait for a re-release, anyway, because I don't care for the fast packs and I want to save as much money as possible. Still, does the original have the fixes?

If you guys want to put in a group order for some replacement canopies I'm game for a few.

Sorry to hear that, it showed on my first issue Roy as well. You could just try scraping it off if you don't want the shiny canopy, but I did that and the canopy plastic itself had a yellow tint to it and it looks like crap. As for replacing it: good question. Let me know how that goes then I'll try.

CF-1A; the only one I bought. Probably grab the Hikaru 1J next year if they ever re-release it with the new fixes - it was released beforehand, correct? And of course I'll have to buy a new TV version Roy 1S if they release it. My first edition is crumbling in the box.

Yeah. I'd buy maybe ONE if it was a completely new version of the mold. The only thing that I really want right now is a Roy 1S conversion kit if they aren't going to release a TV version. That and replacement cockpit parts since the shiny coating likes to bubble off even in the best of storage circumstances.

Ouch! That's worse than mine. Mine just had a little spot, so I started chipping away and just took most of the coating off. Unfortunately the canopy itself has a slight yellow tint so I guess it's going to be in Battroid mode whenever I have the room to display them. You haven't experienced this with your others, you say? That's good news. I was worried about my Cannon Fodder. The first issue Roy must have been the teething phase.

Don't know if anyone else had this problem, but the reflective stuff on my 1st edition 1/60 v2 Roy 1S canopy was chipping and falling off. Quality! The shoulders will probably break whenever I decide to transform it too.

I bought the 1A Cannon Fodder and there was nothing indicating it was out of stock, so I expected it to ship them out as soon as they could. Ordered it on the 4th, which was a Friday evening in the US so I didn't expect anything until this past week. Then nothing happened. I even e-mailed them and they haven't responded. I'll give them until Friday and if I don't hear back from them I'm calling my bank and telling them to dispute the charge. I will say that HLJ is waiting for a December restock of the same item, so perhaps Over Drive is in the same boat? All I ask then is some kind of e-mail telling me that they are waiting for their shipment to arrive. How difficult is that, really? UPDATE (yeah yeah no one cares): They responded and shipped it out today. Crisis averted.

I'm getting more than a little annoyed with OverDrive. Has anyone ordered something within the last week and had it shipped out? It's like they're on vacation or something. I thought they'd be FASTER than HLJ, not slower.

Well what the hell. I only got the first e-mail and that link still says pending. Oh well, I'll be out of town until Sunday anyway. If nothing has happened by Monday I'll have to shoot them an e-mail.

Hmm. Well, it didn't say it was out of stock. It's just been pending for several days. Credit card has already been charged.

Ordered from Over-Drive on Friday. Anyone know how long it typically takes for them to ship an order out/how fast Japanese EMS is? It's just one 1/60 CF-1A.

I have an original Roy 1S that has never been transformed. I'll have to give him a checkup when the 1A gets here. Is it visible in fighter mode?

Thanks guys. I don't keep up with Macross anymore and I've been putting this purchase off for a while. Just ordered through Over Drive. Should be a nice Christmas present for myself.

Hate to bump such an old topic, but did anyone even buy the VF-1A? If so, are there any problems like on the first Roy that was released way back when?

Oh man I hope the 1A has the same pilot, but either way gimme the 1A already.

The 1A will be the last VF I buy for years to come, so I'm quite excited about this release. *rubs hands together*

I don't have much time or any real desire to play most games anymore, but Mass Effect was one of those that just dragged me in. I can't wait for the second installment.

I bit the bullet and went to a midnight screening. Here's my thoughts. All in all, I thought it was better than the third but nowhere near the first two movies. If you're a Terminator fan it's worth seeing at some point. In terms of movies in theaters now, it's nowhere near as good as Star Trek. edit: thanks word filter
