  1. Anyone have a spare TIE Fighter pilot from the Evolutions set or one of the new TIE Fighters? The one that has the ace stripes down the helmet. And a spare Wedge from the Target X-wing. It seems like people on rebelscum don't want to part with theirs.
  2. I never did get that holy grail of the Action Fleet: the TIE Defender. I got most everything but that. No E-Wing, but eh that thing has no appeal.
  3. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....0&start=100 About 3/4 down the page.
  4. Almost as crazy as the B-52 that lined up and called the ball according to a guy at ARC.
  5. I didn't pay what I would call premium prices for a toy that is broken out of the box. Sorry.
  6. Something from the 80s, either Blade Runner or Aliens. Star Wars is good but is almost more fantasy than scifi.
  7. Just picked up a few stragglers from Brian's Toys and BBTS. I went nuts on these things back in 2006 and 2007, but then I came to my senses and realized what a waste of money it was to army build. Now I'm just buying the nice VOTC/VTSC or similar quality figures in the general line.
  8. Likewise. I've had a VF-1 for about 3 weeks now and still no charge.
  9. Haha. All joking aside, I really like the look of the plane.
  10. I just found out that a company is releasing a 1/72 scale diecast 5th FIS "Spitten Kittens" F-15 based on the new paintjob at Duxford. Instant pre-order for several reasons. http://www.aikensairplanes.com/gemini%20aces/ga_7001.htm Sexy.
  11. An hour and a half in Japan and 9 minutes in Chicago.
  12. Not really when you consider that many with the knurled pins have broken straight out of the box prior to being transformed.
  13. It looks like it is molded from the same cheapo plastic that the lower grade Transformers are made out of.
  14. I used some really diluted rubbing alcohol, but I think that may have affected the plastic somewhat so if you want to be certain I think water and a Q-tip will work. Takes a little elbow grease, but that way you know you won't damage the plastic.
  15. Looks like I'm a little late to the party. Someone want to PM me the stuff that was removed?
  16. I had to chip away at it, but if I had let it sit there for a few more months so that more bubbled off it probably would have been easier. It doesn't look perfect now, but unless I mentioned to someone that I had chipped the coating off they wouldn't even notice.
  17. Please no. The tint has already begun flaking off several members' Valks. Nice. Any squadron or ace schemes in particular?
  18. Yeah, I would have preferred the longer crotch over the 1/60 head placement. Oh well, it's still the best so far (with the exception of the shoulders).
  19. Part of me really hopes HG picks this up just so I can watch the clusterfart that follows. Has the HFH weighed in on this yet? Pretty obvious that they "borrowed" the basic Valkyrie design.
  20. I might buy the TV Max 1A, but beyond that I'm done until they release a Hikaru 1J that is guaranteed not to have the bad pins.
  21. CRRRRACK! And I can't display this guy in fighter mode because the cockpit finish bubbled to hell. Roy VF-1S, purchased when it was first released a while back. Never been transformed, so this happened IN THE BOX.
  22. I had some junk in my loot that I no longer wanted. Since they changed their policy regarding canceling loot items, I e-mailed them and they canceled my order so I could use the store credit for something I actually wanted. Paid the difference with my credit card two days ago, shipped last night, and it is going to be delivered today. (cheapest shipping option, too) So, I can't complain!
  23. I'd like to see the lot numbers, or whatever equivalent Yamato uses on the toys. Were these VT-1s built at a factory that had a surplus of the knurled pins, or was this a mistake with the build order that Yamato sent out?
