  1. Tag and Bink are kewl. I learned of Tag and Bink from Geekdrome podcast, I liked the comics right away, too bad there r so few issues.
  2. So this is the same mold as the Yellow Submarine model, I wonder how durable it is, since the model itself is resin and kinda heavy i hope this does not break as soon as it is transformed.
  3. I like Hiro the best too. Any guy who stop time, or travel back and forward is the more powerful of all of em so far. But the guy who uses other peoples power is the next coolest.
  4. it is on my todo list for sure, i still cant believe how big the box for it is, i posted a pic of it next to an Yamato 1/48 Vf-1j box
  5. Wow, I love sniper class, itis my favorite. As long as you have a good supply guy on your team u can get major kills from the enemies manning those turrets, the range is long and actually get booted time from time for sniping. Snipers are loathed on the servers i have been playing on, they are hard to find and the fast paced game, I end up seeing the opposite team players just forgetting the turrets and doing something else, allowing the air guys to do their thing more often then not. If I die more then 3 or 4 times while playing sniper, i get frustrated, but right now i love the class.
  6. I downloaded the free demo a couple days ago, been playing it alot . It is not unlike the other BF games, tactics and teamwork still a must, but the graphics and gameplay seem fresh, along with the new weapons, vehicles and rank structure now. I like it, even though i got burned out on the BF games a couple years ago, I am buying mine tonight for sure, maybe someone else out there might like it too. I can youtube some gameplay if anyone wants it, or just go to youtube and search it, lots of clips up the last 2 days. Very addicting so far, the demo is free, 1 Gig large though, took me an hour to download, but worth it for sure.
  7. Wow, I decided to check out the show last night, so I downloaded both episodes and actually liked it alot. Great twisters and surprises, lots better then I thought the show would be.
  8. Finally someone uploaded pics, thanx a million bro.
  9. I love Spartan History, and this story has great factual elements to it. I hope it stays somewhat true to the historic event, it will rock for sure then.
  10. Ahh crap, i hope this movie doesn't get released nationally.
  11. Congrats, hope all is well with family too.
  12. Kewl,, thanx for the pics, appreciated indeed.
  13. LOL, i just saw in by my email, i was outbidded, but that was a week ago, i missed it too, oh well. I was hoping to get to get it, but i suck at tracking auctions.
  14. Finally, someone showing some pics, and a vid to boot, awesome job, looked like fun.
  15. I have had good results with tinfoil on many models myself, that and masking tape (low adehsive).
  16. Speaking of Mari, anyone know what this new Macross project she is working on that she wrote on her webpage? http://www.marimusic.com/index2.html
  17. I dont know anything about X-men, but I thought it was a great movie, followed the other 2 nicely.
  18. Scale solutions is selling another one on ebay. They base their sale on demand, not the resin, other molds sell half the price because people will pay less for em. http://cgi.ebay.com/Macross-Robotech-zentr...1QQcmdZViewItem
  19. Wow, thats one heck of a project you took on, look forward to seeing the finished project. Good job so far.
  20. I find the "Create your on decals" from walmart work great, not sure if you have walmarts down yonder. But the decal sheets sold on ebay work great also, just spray the decals with clear coats (2 light coats work best for me). I used the more expensive sheets and the cheaper as well, i find no difference at all in quality or removal or placement. Their is paper that has whire backgrouns too. Just make sure you use photo quality settings on your printer. I use a very cheap printer (canon ip1500 inkjet) and the decals come out great and adhesive to model with or without a clear coat once applied, though a shot of clear coat once applied and dried works best.
  21. Got time to do some work on the Tomahawk (1/100 scale) last week, and it turned out to be more time consuming then planned, lol. Anyhow, i tried the spinnter camo scheme and it turns out it is a very tedious paint job. I am sure a plane would be alot faster and easier, the 1/100 mech is small and needs more attention for sure. So I sprayed on a grey base, and when dried, went to work masking out some splinter camo. Ok, i never did a splinter theme before, but i am sure if i had, i would not have attemted it on such a small bumpy model. The masking itself takes up 90 percent of the project itself. i spent 2 hours for each camo layer. i did 3 colors, and the time between each layer i spent cleaning the airbrush and preparing next layer. It was fun though , sounds like a scheme i wanna try for the Hasegawa ghost model for sure. Right now i have to add some weathering and soften some of the hardlines of the paint, then some brush touchups. I may do decals, may not require any since it has an off the wall camo scheme and adding Macross decals may not be good enough, since it looks more battletech-ish then a Macross tomohawk. So this week ill do the detailing and some rust layers on a few areas, hopefully it will turn out better then i expect. Found an excellent remover for acylic and enamel paint and does not harm/melt the resin or injection plastic model. (not sure about vinyl, ill test taht later)
