1. I was thinking about this as I was coming home from college today so I just wanted to know what kind of VF's do other countries on Earth use outside of Macross. Since you always see them as part of colonial air forces or part of space wing squadrons in the U.N Spacy, I never understood why SK hasn't shown the militia of other countries on Earth. The only countries that I know that use VF's were Russia with their SV-51's in Macross Zero. What's your opinion on this.
2. I gotta agree with Knight26 on this one about the charcter redesigns being lame. Why do they look like street punks that do crack anyways? I don't think it matches their super hero image IMHO and it would be kinda hard to take them seriously as superheros. So I like the original clothing that they had in the original series
3. Sorry, I had no idea somebody started this thread along time ago but thanx Asreal for reminding me
4. I'm a little confused on this thread. Is this a place where we can all show off our own custom paintschemes for our favorite VF's or what. I'm interested in posting my own for my personal VF'S! Oh wait, nevermind it is. Sorry for being late with that
5. I decided to start this topic because I was interested in hearing some of your opinions and ideas about what would you hypothetically expect out of a final Macross series if SK were to do one. As for me, I would expect it to have at least one black character (don't want to get into this for the controversy) as part of the main cast of VF pilots, lots of explosions, special effects and intense action and a little bit of vulgar humor. And now what about your ideas?
6. Roborrob, iIm really digging that camaro with a smooth cerulean blue paintjob with those characters on it. I have a huge fetish for camaros. I wish I had a hunter green camaro with characters on it like your car.
7. Seto, Im curious as to why do you hate the YF-21, is it because of it's design or whatever reasons you have? As for me, I honestly I like the charcater designs, the mecha of course and the story, of M2 butI'm not all that fond of Japanese music in the anime despite me being 1/5 Japanese myself but I do agree that the charcters have strong personalities that you can relate to and I feel like my personality is somewhat like Hibiki. As for Feff, he was my favorite villain because he was far more ambitious than some of the Zentraedi charcters in the original Macross series. As for M7. I still haven't seen it yet but I like the unique and creative concept that invloles them using sound force technology in the form of rock music to battle the Varauta but I'm not feeling the characters in the show. I guess it's because of the fact they're not true VF pilots but just half pilots and rock band members. I liked everything about Macross Plus and Isamu' personality reminds me of me sometimes becasue of the way he acts.
8. Quickly going back to the Tuskegee Airmen, I did some research on them and it turns out that there were absolutely No aces among the group despite them racking in 251 kills. The most kills attributed to any pilot was 4. Those men were Edward L. Toppins, of the 99th Fighter Squadron, and Lee A. Archer, of the 302nd Fighter. Their record included more than 15,000 combat sorties. They destroyed 111 German airplanes (I think most of them were bombers since they were mainly an escort squadron) in the air and 150 on the ground. They also hit 950 rail cars, trucks and other vehicles, and one Tuskegee "Redtail" sunk a destroyer.
9. Flaming Gauntlet, you should try looking on gamefaqs.com for the AFDS walkthrough which will give you the location of every hidden base needed to find and purchase those three fighters. I first got the first AFD game back in Christmas of 1999 when I got my dreamcast and I fell in love with this game. I liked the BGM to this game and it was much better than the one's you heard on AFDS IMHO. I didn' get a VMU for my Dreamcast til Christmas of 2000, so therefore I couldn't save all of the new planes I got when I first started out. The one fighter I really liked aside from My favorite the F-14 was the MFI fighter. It looked so badass and it was fast and I used to pick this fighter all the time. I was a little disappointed in AFDS despite it having more improved and realistic graphic details because of the lack of refueling and landing missions, a flight sim isn't a flight sim without these you know? I also found those fictional variants of actual planes interesting and inspiring though. I haven't played AFDS since last October because my brother actually sold our X-BOX( I'm still mad at him for doing that). In addition to that, I haven't played AFD I bought back last summer for my Dreamcast since my brother's friend stole it from me back in Sept. 2003 and due to the fact that my brother actually sold our Dreamcast as well. I'm so eager to get another dreamcast to play AFD since I haven't played it in about 2 1/2 years ago.
10. Because elephants have flat feet.o 391625 Quick question Rocket Punch, are you Chinese or Korean? Wasn't sure by looking at your profile pic
11. Shin, do you plan on getting the new GI JOE Sigma 6 figures to add to your collection?
12. Oh, then I'm late with this thread. My fault!
13. This topic of mine was inspired by the Ace Combat Zero thread so I had to ask there anybody out there that likes Air Force Delta as well? I have the first 2 games but I still haven't played the third one but I was just curious to know.
14. Is this game availabe for download?
15. Damn, why can't this game come out for X-BOX for a chance. the only ace combat games I have is the first and third one for my PS-X. I'm digging that ADF-1X Morgan fighter though.
16. Thanx for pointing that out JBO, I just assumed that his information was credible since it was somewhat of a reference to Macross VF's.
17. I was just looking at a pic of the X-9 just recently and was thinking about the QF-500 ghost from Macross Zero and that made me wonder if the X-9 is indefinetly related to the QF-500. According to the X-9's stats from Macross Mecha Designs it doesn't clearly state any evidence that it's related to the older ghost drones so what do you think about this?
18. I thought the point was to be more specific than "BOOBS!1111" 391438 Sorry,I was just too lazy to do so since there were too many chicks to list. But here's another chick I like, Lufy from Gall Force, she has somewhat of an attitude but she's got spunk and some ovarian fortitude for a space pilot. In addition to that, I like Kei from Dirty Pair Flash for the same reasons as Lufy from Gall Force.
19. Since I have huge fetish for Japanese and Chinese women, My ideal anime chick would be every single Chinese and Japanese female manga/anime character out there!
20. Wow! After 16 pages of debates and discussions about jetplanes, nobody has talked about flight sims? Im flattered
21. I have to say Miria for the same reasons JB0 stated and I would prefer Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny from pokemon. Nurse Joys' good for taking care of me and diagnosisng my illnesses and officer jenny can protect herself since she's a cop. Misty's cute though
22. Man this topic is gonna be locked for it's content but when you say masturbated to Macross, do you mean to the characters or the valks? I can imagine some body beatin' their meat to a valk. OMG the VF-1's looks so sexy with it's gun pod which reminds me of a penis. A gun pod that looks like a penis extension with a trigger and handle is worth "rasturbating" to| LOL Never mind I checked to link to see what it was. That's interesting
23. What about the Tuskegee Airmen? Can't forget about them too and wasn't Chuck Yeager a WW2 ace before he was a test pilot?
24. Whats the distinct difference Shin? After all bothe fighters performed admirably during the Korean War and Cold War era but America's F-86 did better than the MIG-15's despite the same airframe design. The only difference was that the American pilots were more skilled than the Russian pilots. Here's the link to the Old Crow P-51: http://www.cebudanderson.com/
