Not a fair comparison, since one is a prequel and another is a direct sequel. Even if you did watch Rogue One, we don’t know where Andor is at this earlier point in life that the Andor series starts at. So yeah, they need to spend some time to spell out his origin some. Rebels had a epilogue that Ahsoka basically jumps you into. Yeah, a few years have passed, but the characters are still who they are at their core. As such, you don’t need as long a time to intro them.

Seasons 3 and 4 of Rebels have some key storybeats that lead into Ahsoka.

If they resolve the breakage issues and the floppy joints, I’d be all over a CF version. Plus, if it yellows, it’s already teal. So, we’d hardly notice! 😁

Well if you want a VF-1, there’s always options out there. But the rarer birds (like the -21 or the VF-17D) just don’t have that sort of coverage or options. It’d be a big risk, but I wouldn’t mind another company taking a shot at the -21, just to show Bandai up.

I do like the availability and convenience factor. Don’t feel like going back to setting my DVR. But the quality of +’s new stuff is meh once you average it all out. If it wasn’t for Ahsoka, my daughter watching Bluey roughly a billion times, the old library of good Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars content, and sharing other streaming services with family, I’d probably tell Disney to sod off with the price hike. -
^^Hard to tell. In the one pic we saw of the fighter underbelly, there’s a slot to connect the stand. But those slots seem to be in the wrong spot to connect the gunpods:

Yamato’s 1/60 version did fairly well representing all three modes. There’s the HMR (?) prototype that’s been shown here a few times. Point being that if Bandai wanted to make a better looking battroid, then why did they make the choices they made? It wouldn’t be too hard to slightly lengthen the hipguards and make them more in line with the lineart shape. None of us are denying that compromises have to be made. But what mode is being given preference? Battroid? But why the short hipguards and the very thick chest? Fighter mode? But we see how they had to thicken up the back of the plane to fit the wider legs. Gerwalk? Then why have they never displayed it in that mode? And it’s not hatred but frustration that they haven’t made any fixes over all these years. It could be so much better, but Bandai feels they can just move forward without tweaking or fixing up the design.
