    Just got back from the movie. Very tongue-in-cheek with obvious references to the old games. . . and boatloads of Easter eggs to the NES days. It’s definitely silly and fun. And poor Bowser, taken down by Shakespeare’s green-eyed monster. The Academy better nominate “Peaches” for Best Original Song!

    Speaking of the Fook sisters, I’m yesterday years old in discovering that Fook Yu was played by Carrie Ann Inaba (aka the other well-known In Living Color Fly Girl, aka the Dancing with the Stars judge). 🤯

    It’ll be capable of looking like a BEAST. But yeah the wings look to be upside down. It does look like they’ve shrunk the bomber mode gaps compared to the Toynami Beta, but I’ll have to see some dead-on front and back pics. So, somehow the cockpit flips up into the chest? 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I’d be okay if we never see benign, kind and gentle daimyo Boba Fett ever again. Now if we see the bastard that wrecked Stormtroopers and just straight up shot Bib without any hesitation? I’d be fine seeing that guy.

    It’ll have Hayden Force Ghost and Bib leaving the Barge while eating a slab of steak (foreshadowing his gluttonous look in BOBF). 🤪

    If you’re a Return of the Jedi fan, you’ll be extremely pleased with the TVC line reveals. Also showed images of Black Krrsantan and Mando’s N-1. TVC Pipeline (will be released way later) are main baddies: Krennic, Thrawn, Pre Vizla, Grand Inquisitor, and Revan. Gonna milk that Imperial officer mold.

    Seriously, seeing Fives rise up the ranks and then what happens after is still a nut-punch. There’s a line in Tales of the Jedi about Jesse tagging Ahsoka that is both amusing and sad at the same time (knowing what happens later). ROTS hinted at the relationship between the Jedi and their clone troopers. But Clone Wars went in great detail to show how deep that bond was and humanized those clones into people we actually cared for.

    So with all these new shows set to debut, can Hasbro get off their butts and start releasing more 3.75” figures and stuff? That aren’t just a repaints of Mandalorians or Clones? That’s where my hatred flows towards!

    Nah, most of the toxic a-holes were going after Rose. Again, I don’t have an issue with criticizing characters and how they’re written. But there’s zero need to go after the actors or actresses portraying them.

    For all my hate for the sequel trilogy, I actually thought The Force Awakens wasn’t all that bad. A little derivative, but it wasn’t bad. Now Last Jedi? 🤮 That made me decide to skip the rest of that trilogy.

    Sabine was probably a late teen or in her early 20’s during Rebels. So, she’s probably in her 30’s(?) for this series? That hologram of Ezra looks weird though. Don’t know if it’s supposed to represent how he looked back in the day. Should have deepfaked it to make him look younger.

    Thrawn was actually pretty damn good in Rebels. Smartest person in the room. Actually studied the cultures and art of his enemies to get a better understanding of them. Only “loses” by the most extraordinary of circumstances.

    Yeah, nearsighted with astigmatism for me. But that crazy “can’t focus close up on things” bit hits as you get older. One of my old optometrist warned me that would happen later. <shrugs>
