  1. Do I really need to say anything more about those too short hip guards/bellyplates? šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
  2. And Bandai’s backpack thrusters are sitting lower when compared to the legs.
  3. In fairness, Yamato’s backpack also raises/slides up for battroid and Gerwalk:
  4. Another reason to appreciate what the Yamato design was able to pull off. Yeah, the legs are skinny, but they pulled off a solid design that looks good in all three modes. Still haven’t seen Gerwalk for Bandai’s rendition all this time either.
  5. Okay, then we’ll just refer to it as the ā€œreimaginedā€ SDFN-4 Global from Frontier. šŸ˜‰
  6. Bellyplates still look bleh and short, and you can see the back third of the bellyplate hiding on the backpack. Not seeing any obvious changes. . . . So, nothing on that TV SDF-1 they showed last year?
  7. Let’s see if they actually fixed any of the things some of us were harping about. EDIT: @Chronocidal, guess we had the same thought! šŸ˜†
  8. Is it just me, or does it almost sound like everyone is saying ā€œVictorā€ instead of Ritcher?
  9. Well, that was rather underwhelming. Let's see what MCU tropes were dragged out yet again for Secret Invasion: Massive final CGI fight where one of the heroes fights an antagonist with almost the exact same powers? āœ”ļø Plot driving the characters instead of the characters' traits driving the plot? āœ”ļø New characters taking over roles of older characters? āœ”ļø I liked Mr. Robot, but I guess it was more Sam Esmail that made that show so damn good, rather than Kyle Bradstreet (one of the writers/producers for Secret Invasion). Did this Marvel series have some good moments? Yeah, mostly the talky scenes were good. Yes, Sonya is a fun character with her cheery but hard-nose/blunt way (I can respect what she says at the end). Most scenes with Talos were good. But G'iah and Gravik are just there to move the plot along. They never really give us enough to fully understand their characters, and they never made their actions have any semblance of consistency. Honestly, I'd rather they spent more time with the characters than driving us from one crazy plot to the next. And it was tiring doing the whole "Is this character an ally or enemy of Fury's?!!" Everyone said Fury changed after the Snap/Blip, but we really never hear how or why exactly he changed. We see this scary concept of Skulls hiding amongst us, but it's only a surface level treatment. Honestly, it just felt like a drag and a sludge to watch through all this. Want to right the ship Disney? Settle these stupid strikes, and then hire Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and most of the Netflix-Marvel series writers to do your + shows. Because I'd rather see what these writers can do or the follow-up stories that these folks had set up, rather than be obligated to watch whatever slop your current crop of writers will chug out.
  10. Exhibit #8 that Moggy’s getting older: I thought the VF-4 was Max pointing a gun at his DYRL counterpart. šŸ˜…
  11. And the Ghost has met its minimum number to officially go into the production. Now, it’s time to see if all the tiers will get unlocked.
  12. Snot Rockets or Booger Bombs?
  13. Surprised Stick never fired those, considering his tendency to Itano Circus any and all of his weapons for every and all circumstances.
  14. Aren’t we all? Haven’t really studied the lineart, but are those circles on either side of the Eta’s face supposed to be missiles or RPG’s?
  15. It’s as if Optimus Prime and a VF-1S had a love child.
  16. Preorders for Revan, Pre Vizla, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the Imp Officer 4-pack are now up: https://hasbropulse.com/search?q=Star Wars vintage The first three are also available at your usual retailers.
  17. The Raptor? You’re probably thinking of the Viper. But even the bulky Raptor had a pretty fun dogfight scene.
  18. Let’s just wait to see it in action. The Razor Crest was a burly bus, and they still got some good action sequences out of her. Even the old BSG Raptor wasn’t the sexiest of designs, but they were able to pull off a crazy action sequence with her too.
  19. I’m secretly holding out hope that Chopper and Sabine will be additional tier unlocks. I actually got a Chopper a few years back, and I’m sure I’ll probably kit-bash a Sabine from one of the figures they’ll release from the main line. I’d rather go the swappable head/helmet route than the ā€œhelmet covering the headā€ route they decided for Sabine. But to still be FINALLY getting Ezra, Blind Kanan (with an extra head), and Zeb AND getting them in their Rebels outfits?! Yeah, I was pleased with those tier offerings.
  20. Also in the TVC line, new Revan figure with much better articulation available for preorder tomorrow. Imperial Officer 4-Pack, I think available for preorder. Pre Vizla (not sure if the head allows you decapitate him) 🤪 And Dooku is in the pipeline.
  21. You see a Ghost? Yeah, I’m seeing a Ghost! https://hasbropulse.com/collections/haslab/products/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-the-ghost
  22. Thrust from the feet AND arms. Considering the way Stick launches missiles and RPG's like they're going out of style, relying on thrust over aerodynamics kinda fits Mospeada's "screw being subtle" aesthetic.
  23. Sentinel’s rendition looks pretty airworthy:
  24. My biggest gripe with the Alpha is the fighter mode proportions are too stubby and wonky.
