My first thought was: Didn't we pretty much have a live-action version of Year One with certain scenes in Batman Begins? Still it looks fairly promising. Wonder if they'll do a Gordon trailer, since he's nowhere to be found in the trailer >EXO< posted.

The two things you didn't want to be when you're a Rebel pilot were: Fat A Minority. Either of those two traits were pretty much a death sentence in the original trilogy.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Mog replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Getting back on topic, I hope we see some CAD pictures. . . . . . . of the landing gears! -
Granted, the only reason I found this was because I was there a few minutes after the Toys R Us opened, and I'm taking time off to take care of the little guy to the left. But nonetheless. . . . . . . YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!! Now all I have to do is get some dirt-brown paint, paint in the hair a little bit, see if I can make the holster sit a little lower, add a leg strap to the gun holster, replace the gun with a more ESB accurate one, see if I can replace the left hand with one that has the "Ford finger" gesture, and maybe see if I have some booted feet that will look a little better on the figure. Oh, the little things in life!

Hell must have frozen over today, because I saw all of the following at one, single Target store: * TWO Warpaths; * TWO Wheeljacks; * One Generations Thundercracker; * One Kup; and * One Scourge. And of course, a grip of Skullgrins. PM me if you wanna know the location. I'm not a Transformer collector, so I left 'em there.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Mog replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
When I get the VF-17, I am SO putting it in a mid-flight pose with the LANDING GEAR ABOUT TO COME FULLY DOWN! Not completely down, just in the process of coming down. Don't limit the posing options on my toys. Ever since the original 1/55's, practically all of the large-size VF's have included integrated/built-in landing gear. It feels like a step back to make the landing gear pop-on/pop-off for the 17. -

^^But even the X-Wings from that universe have landing gear (and integrated ones on the toy too!). So what if they've blown up TWO Death Stars? 1/1 LowViz Lurker would still call them pussies. -
<Waves hand in front of Hasbro executives>: You will replace all the Vintage Sandtroopers and ROTS Clone Troopers I see at stores with Wave 7 of the Vintage collection. You will ensure that Bastila Shan will be easy to find at brick-and-motar stores. And you will ship out more Wedge Antilles figures as a nice "Oops, our bad" apology to all the fans you've been screwing over with this line.

Another kid = less time to go toy hunting? Or bigger excuse to go check out toy stores (for the kids, of course!)

PM'ed you the "not that big of a potential spoiler" info, Shin. Getting back to the last two cinematic trailers though, if they ever do a live-action movie/series set in the KOTOR era, I could see Olivia Wilde portraying Satele. The similarities are almost uncanny, especially after watching the Hope trailer again.
-
Genetically speaking, yes . . . . Assuming the rumors and speculation are true about a certain character that's shown up on these trailers.

Sucks to hear what's happenning with those silicon tips. Personally, I've never had any issues with the old rubber ones. <knock on wood>

GI Joe 30th Anniversary Line Fall 2011
Mog replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
$30 Good gravy!! . . . And that's BEFORE shipping, right? -
Hmm, are they going backwards in time with these trailers? The latest being the earliest, the Alderaan one being somewhere in the middle, and the fall of the Jedi Temple happenning a few years before this so-called cold war starts? Regarding the above trailer, just before the unmasking, I was wondering whether that was Revan weilding the double-saber. Guess, I was wrong. Thanks for the link!

Hmm, the head on your DSII Luke actually looks fairly decent. The original one on mine looked a lot worse (too wide looking), so I did the following headswap: It was a massive improvement.

GI Joe 30th Anniversary Line Fall 2011
Mog replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
^^^This X 1000. I'm sure the Star Wars Vintage line fans and the Transformers Generations line fans will agree with us that these three lines have been getting the royal shaft this past year or so from Hasbro and/or their distributors. I have never seen POC Low-Light anywhere in my area and finally had to cave in to purchase one off eBay. Most of the nearby Walmarts don't even have any Joe stuff out on display anymore. And whenever I do see Joe stuff at a retailer, it's usually that freakin' Artic Destro or some other pegwarmer. Star Wars Vintage line? I consider myself lucky if I see anything from the Return of the Jedi wave or later. Transformers Generations? I guess someone at Hasbro thought Skullgrin would be a super-popular figure. Seriously, there's good demand for a lot of these figures, but where the hell is the supply? Hey Hasbro!! I really don't give a damn about your stupid movie tie-in toys. Is your business doing so great that you can afford to lose collectors who no longer wanna deal with all the headaches of trying to find your products? Fix the damn problem! Because, I'm sure you're company is not the one getting rich off of these higher mark-ups. -
The Blockade Runner from ANH? Or the Rebel Transport from Empire (that they use to escape from Hoth)?

In no particular order: * Ride On Shooting Star (FLCL) Nice balls-out rocking ending! * The World of Midnight (Black Lagoon) MASSIVE ASS SPOILER! AHEAD!! Beautiful, haunting, and bittersweet. Absolute perfect ending to a seriously dark, yet sad story. * Actually enjoy this one just a little more than The Real Folk Blues. Love the lyrics and dig its gospel/rock sound. * Smooth jazzy vibe with a great bass line. * Who's Theme (Samurai Champloo) (Full Version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRI98Z5KRTE Yet another smooth, relaxing, chill song. Totally dig Minmi's voice on this track. * Diamond Crevasse (Macross Frontier) (from THAT episode) Another awesome blend of song and ending, working pefectly in harmony to send one another to incredible levels. * Runner (Last Episode, Original Macross): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYPZNhcOHwg After hearing it sung by a man for every single episode prior to this, it was pretty freakin' cool (and appropriate) to hear Mari sing it for the last ep.

Fully armored Mr. Opress: Linky. As an aside, it's absolutely shameful how Hasbro's been giving us collectors the proverbial shaft with the more collector-centered lines. Whether its the Vintage collection, Transformers Generations line, or GI Joe's non-movie lines, we tend to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to finding the products out in the brick-and-motar stores. Oh, but when it comes time to push your movies, there's never a shortage of those toys.

Sorry, but always loved Champloo's ENDINGS so much more. Surpised no one ever mentioned this wholesome, family diddy : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WftvTFxkopE

Most of my crap is TV, DYRL, or M+. Haven't been too motivated to get the 22's, so nothing yet from M7. (That should change once I get the unique-looking VF-17.) Was tempted a few times to pick-up the SV-51 (especially, Ivanov's), but didn't have a logical place to display it at the time. And then the whole broken arms stuff with the VF-0's kinda scared me away. So, never got into Mac Zero as a result. Didn't get into Mac Frontier either, since I never completely fell in love with the VF-25 or Bandai's toy rendition. Though, I gotta admit I love the concept and look of Ozma's fully armored 25S. Again, if they ever release a good-looking VF-171, I could be persuaded to added Frontier to my list. Favorite toy series? Hmm, as much as I love the YF-21, I still gotta go with the TV series. Most variety of Valks. The hero Valks have more color to differentiate themselves from one another (as opposed to DYRL). And there's just more stuff to collect from this particular series (joke machines, destroids, character figures, different stuff in different scales, etc.)

Actually, it's the one from NINE years ago. Linky. Technically though, I bought it off of eBay back in 2006, shortly after they released the VTSC X-Wing Pilot Luke. Figured a bad-ass figure like that particular Luke needed an appropriately tough-looking ride to compliment him. Sorry, Majestic. Wish I could help. My solution to needing more display spaces/areas was to build more shelves. But that doesn't exactly work with the parameters you laid out.

1/48+fp's, 1/60, And 1/72 Picture Gallery Pt 4
Mog replied to VF-18S Hornet's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
The first Big Three in their original rides, sporting their best accessories: Kinda wish I had bought some extra Anasazi stickers back in the day for these three Valks.
