    LOL - I do strive for consistency. Vader: OT is awesome, PT is not. Megatron: has been pretty much the same in every incarnation that I've seen him in (G1, Beast Wars, Beast Machines and in the live action films) - evil, bumbling, funny, and incredibly capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. And yeah, I like him for what he is. I do love G1 Masterpiece toys above all else, not at all a fan of Beast Wars toys - go figure. -b.

    Just to clarify, I'm not saying that they aren't, and mine could be but that it's really hard to tell. So with that, if they are crooked on mine, IMO, it's not a big deal. -b.

    Well my quoting you was more along the lines of Beast Wars v. G1, but... It wasn't nostalgia that prompted Hasbro to turn Transformers into a live-action franchise, it was the quest for more money. With the advance of CGI making productions like this fiscally feasible, well it was almost an eventuality. Even my MOM wanted to go see AoE, not because she gives two craps about Transformers, but because she was in the mood for a big dumb action movie (raising me, she's who got me into Star Trek and the like to begin with). We'll chalk this up to different tastes, but I NEVER liked G1 Bumblebee, not as a kid, not in the movie and not as Goldbug. At least in the Bay films he is more than just a goofy, borderline useless human sidekick. I'm on team: Let the cartoons be the cartoons and the live action movies be the live action movies. -b.

    Ha! Well space is still an issue, and as much as I'm spending, I'm not doing any of the responsible things with my money. At some point reality will force me to do so, so I'm trying to be smart, ahead of time by setting a mental limit of (2). -b.

    Agreed! Got obliterated the first time I tried the Strike mission on my own, even with my character at Level 8. Can be messy with one, when I played last night it was with my best friend and some random dude that got lumped into our Fireteam, we got our asses handed to us a couple of times before it was all said and done (starting with the taking the barriers down, the tank and the main Orb). -b.

    It feels like they may be off-center (especially when you look at some of the panel lines on the inside of the VTOL engines), but when I look from head-on or from the side it's really hard to tell. Kind of one of those situations that if there is something not right then the execution was "good enough". -b.

    Well, it all depends on how many units Bandai produces. And re: N-Y not necessarily, especially if they immediately resort to adjusting their prices to meet "market demand", or in other words, scalp. -b.

    Short answer: No. Long answer: If they do it'd be to produce stuff like dolls or figures, nothing amazing like a 1/60 scale VF-25. Bandai has way too much invested in their DX line to allow direct competition any time soon. -b.

    Ha, ha, ha! Add me to that list of folks willing to buy a MISB Renewal 25S for MSRP as well. Yeah, I'm gunning for two, and a huge maybe to a third during this round, but I'd be very content with being able to secure (2) copies. And good luck on a direct reissue for any of the exclusives. Bandai will either bundle or they'll release armor parts with a change here or there (I've seen them do that with Gundam Metal Build Tamashii releases). -b.

    ^^LOL, that was me yesterday. Anyway, I'm looking at the 25F with Tornado parts on and it really is a massive set of armor. As it sits on a Flex/Flight Pose stand it looks like the stand should collapse under the weight (but it won't, cause the parts actually aren't that heavy). You wouldn't even know how relatively small the 25 actually is underneath those gigantic wing attachments. -b.

    No problem! It's hard to stop once you start posing your Valks, and just when you think you've got the perfect pose you see it from another angle and decide to tweak it just a little bit more. And more. And... -b.

    Nice pictures and summary, I hope you don't mind me highlighting this picture, as that white peg is shown above that plugs into the leg armor is exactly what I managed to break on my Alto. -b.

    Ha ha ha. Good one. Beast Wars, from a "story" perspective is infinitely better than those pre-Transformers: The Movie G1 episodes. And I'm quite sure I'm older than both of you two fighting about it. G1 = Win from a Transformer design perspective BW = Win from a story (relative to the fact that it is a cartoon) perspective -b.

    Agreed. The suit in Batman Begins sucked, one reason why being he couldn't turn his neck. The suit in Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises was awesome, speaking from a mobility and aesthetic stand-point. -b.

    It's been so long since I've handled a v1 25F with Tornado Parts but from faint memory I'd venture to say that the v1 felt sturdier. That's not to say that these feel flimsy, but a chunky monkey tank they're not. -b.
