  1. Given the lack of actual 80s Supercars, from TV or otherwise, this looks like nothing more than an excuse of the Hoff to try and keep relevant.
  2. frakk YEAH!!! Maybe they will get it better than Bay's Pearl Harbor. Lots of awesome aviation action at least.
  3. I see only three good things in that trailer: #1 They are using guns again. Drew BaringMore's insistence that they not use guns in her movies was stupid, they were super cops, let them use guns. #2 Elizabeth Banks, need I say more. #3 Patrick Stewart, how much did they have to pay him to be in this steaming pile? Everything else, casting, acting, set pieces, music, utter crap.
  4. Just to watch the real TT kick TTGs butt I may watch this. I HATE TTG
  5. I am debating attending, I haven't been since MWCon 2005 IIRC.
  6. I am still on the fence regarding this service. Honestly one of the big draws for me is the animated library. Does include all the 90s to early 2000s: Batman TAS, Superman, Justice League, and JLU seasons? Also does it have all the current DCAU movies?
  7. WTF? This has gone so far off the rails I don't think they're even on land anymore.
  8. Guy at a show I was selling my books at had a vintage MIB Gakken 1:18 scale Mospeada Cyclone, the chunky one, asking $45 for it. Should I have grabbed it? This One: http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=1424 Looks like Anymoon says no, but it was MIB.
  9. I would so see that movie.
  10. I see that they are still quoting the angled seat fallacy. While the seat angle does help with G-Tolerance that is not why it is at that angle. It is at an angle because it otherwise would not have fit inside the canopy as designed, and angling the seat was the simplest, and cheapest, solution.
  11. While I like the Terminator series, it never should have been a series. The original Terminator was a perfect predestination time-loop. People think it ends on as downer, Judgement Day is coming, but forget that the whole reason the time travel occurs is because SkyNet lost. Timetravel was the last gamble to try and win, but also ensure that Skynet even existed. I have always thought that SkyNet knew its origins so was always going to send a terminator back. For Skynet sending back the terminator not only ensures its existance but gives it a chance to win by killing Sarah and unborn John Conner. What Skynet didn't know was about Kyle Reese, which the last couple of films have screwed the pooch on. Honestly, I am not looking forwards to this. Genisys was a serious letdown and Salvation had potential but got screwed by bad writing and directing.
  12. God, those look horrible and at 4.25" that is a weird scale, like 1:17 (for a 6' character) or larger.
  13. Oh yes, the foreshadowing was always there, but they did it even worse than In End of the Circle, at least in that they handed it over to Zor. IIRC The attack on Tyrol was the best part of Sentinels and looked like it received the most attention from the animators.
  14. Realistically, due to regulations, we are looking at 20 years before a true reusable "space plane" will be available for commercial usage. That include BFR. Assuming SpaceX get's BFR flying on schedule it's launches will be dedicated to Moon and Mars missions for the foreseeable future. In large part this is due to infrastructure, that doesn't exist, and ensuring the systems are all safe enough for commercial passenger transport. Even using Stratolaunch will take time as there are not a lot of airports that can support the air and space craft. You will see military usage of BFR, or Stratolaunch based designs hitting the world in less than 10 years, but those will likely not be reusable, more like special operations insertion craft that are destroyed after usage, or have a minimal return to base capability.
  15. This will be a competitor to that design. And I bet one of the selling points will the similarity to the existing Apache in terms of much of the interior systems, along with a higher payload amount compared to the Sikorsky Proposal. But it is kind of a moot point, as both companies are owned by Boeing, so no matter which one goes forward, Boeing wins. Boeing will want the Apache follow on to win, as they are the sole manufacturer, whereas the Sikorsky-Boeing they will have to split the work and the money. Though I do think the Sikorksy is the better design.
  16. Oh God, the End of the Circle? Are they F'n serious? That was the most stupid thing Robotech ever did, and I know that is saying something.
  17. Shut your mouth before the mouse hears you and ruins our beloved anime franchises.
  18. If it ain't Mark Hammil, is sure ain't the Joker.
  19. Fans are butthurt but without seeing how the whole thing ties together they are jumping too soon. This is an issue with the show's format. It is too short to tell the story properly. There are so many threads and side stories from the books that are left out that will tie into the book series ending and make things cleaner, though still GRRM messy. Why anyone is surprised that
  20. So basically it's an updated, modern Cheyenne. It even has the big wings, belly turret and intakes.
