  1. I like the heads myself, they remind me of the 1990 Bandai Stuff. I know many of you are purest and that's ok too. Thinking to myself these look bandai quality, at a KC price point. so I will likely buy them all once released.
  2. Did anyone else have a crush on her back in the day? looking forward to seeing this one.
  3. My Blitzway KO Voltron came in the mail, Sword piece broke trying to put in his hand. other then that its a nice to for the price.
  4. I just did this little Cutie Robot, it was very fun up until I got the instructions of building arms (missing upper arm instructions you must finish build then use leftover parts to figure it out) I am going to order another kit for a custom piece with a full paint job and will go at it with all the gundam building tricks that will work it into something one of a kind. I love this little thing, she was a blast to build.
  5. I just added the ToyHax Upgrade Kit to my Legacy Windblade. thought you all might like to see the results. For those unfamiliar with windblade, here is a video of her.
  6. TV SDF-1 if it is one, I'd prefer a much larger one. the thing was the size of a city. about 2 inch's higher then a Jinbao Devastater would be better 75CM+ for my collection and maybe others who have the big boy 1/48's.
  7. Same here so much time and graphics has upped up but not so much on console I am getting rid of my PS5 next week I need to get out of gaming so I have time to build kits I've got a backlog of 12 Frame Arm Girls/30MS kits + I want to get into 3D printing to make my own SDF-1 model kit.
  8. That! they are trying better for certain. would be nice if they could get a BW License and do both brands. now if they make a SDF-1 with the detail of everything else they make I'll buy it as I love giant robots. I've thought about buying these dolls they look good to me and using real fabric is a step above imho. the dolls would go great with the autographed cards I have of each pilot, but I'm still deciding or my wallet is.
  9. That looks like a really good movie I might have to watch it sometime. kind of has some vibes from the movie The Lazarus Project about the system, resurrection and death. That cyborg doll kind of reminded me of this video, it blew me away years ago. can't believe looking at the date its been so long.

  11. Bandaid is just another licensee and manufacturer, Big West calls all the shots and owns all Macross IP per Studio Nue, Jetfire likeness and name is owned by Hasbro. I'm not sure about Bandaid being able to do anything unless Takara tried to do a copy of the 1/55. I am interested in these tiny Tiny Valks if the price is right
  12. Not to sidetrack the discussion, but if Takara has a BW license for the Macross designs and they share rights for Jetfire with Hasbro what is stopping them from releasing an Japan Exclusive of Jetfire? maybe a limited missing relic?
  13. If I had to make a bet it would be panel lined with a Gundam Pen. Look at the lower nose bottom left of the landing gear. See how it bleeds in and out. If one use's a GDP for PL for best results they still need to scribe the surface as modern cold cast injection mold dies are triple micro polished so the plastic not only has a shiny clean surface but to also resist staining. well if your going to do that you might be better off just prepping, scribing and using a small feather brush to paint the lines. GDP really works better on certain things like Gundam were bandai formulates the plastic differently as they expect the model kits to be customized. It could also be they are using an off brand Pen as the good ones are pricey around $20 a piece. I've never used a Gundam Pen on a 1/48 these are just guess's by me nothing in concrete here.
  14. I think Arcadia needs a new owner. I also suspect it was BW pushing them to release something due to it being the 40th. not releasing an updated version incorporating PF features and more! is really ridiculous in this day and age considering it just looks like a grey blob. even 3rd party TF and crappy knockoffs have better detail these days. where is the drive to be better, to exceed expectations and offer an experience like no other. with all the newest production machines and methods in China it's sad to see a brand wasted like this and a chance give customers an exceeded experience. I suspect he only had to change factory's because he was not giving them enough business. This is a waste. yes I would to buy an SDF-1 but in this case someone would be better off just 3D printing one. this is one time a 4th party knockoff would be a good idea, they could make it better with much better detail. I'll send MuscleBear an Email. I think the only thing going on right now is they are doing the adsalute minimum to keep the license from BW. that half empty uninspiring show booth says everything. Yamato Died and it's soul went to heaven, that's all I see here.
  15. Sorry to hear that, Captain Britain was a comic book that blew me away years ago when I first found it, I think it was 1988/89 I was at an ice cream joint that had a comic stand were I was picking up the weekly update and discovered CB, the artwork was incredible.
  16. Thanks for letting us know about the situation, I know it must be frustrating to make such a large purchase then to find out nothing was in stock. if you're forced to do a charge back through your credit card they are going to ask for the chat log. I'm no expert in anything Japanese but it seems like in Japan it would be frowned opun to sell something you don't have, my only limited thoughts without more info is many things they don't really carry as large storage spaces are very expensive and they actually go out and shop for many things then ship them. also with the huge pre-order on the ostrich they got if they had extras they might of really sold out as with the sudden website traffic. they likely do not have there website set-up for real time inventory and still do it manually that would explain why they were selling things they don't have, to me the disorganized website says everything it's a reflection of how they operate but it's just a theory without more details. I know how stressful this must be and thank you for warning everyone. I know going forward I'll just stick with Anime Export on these sudden bandai wallet buster releases and think twice with LP. It might be a good idea to invite them to the forum to try and help resolve the matter. I'm sure several on here could help mediate things and I suspect several here who speak/read japanese well. who knows it could help resolve things. Spark
  17. Ok I'll ask it there to me it's very relevant.
  18. I think KC should just develop something new, carefully make it, pack it up, warehouse until the expected amounts are produced then introduce it to the public, open up short preorders and start shipping. no rushing, no poor Qc, just mostly happy customers. I can dream right?
  19. I just got my Armored Valk in the mail from Luna Park, I was surprised with the fast shipping but once the shipping box was opened I really didn't have any interest in opening it. maybe it was the price or I'm just burnt out with toys and need a break. on the bright side maybe later this year when the super ostrich comes in mail I'll be reinvigorated and excited to open it up to display. until then.
  20. They did an update on the Gundam Goblin King its closer to being released, maybe this year?. Link
  21. Thanks! some big differences I just thought all the ones I seen were just different levels of detail. what's kind of funny I thought was how both Macross & Transformers started out with crashed alien ships on remote parts of earth, that both transformed earth vehicles into transforming robots, both ships themselves transformed into giant robots. who would win in a hand to hand fight? TV SDF-1 or The Ark?
  22. Macross is kinda slow to sell or lowballs offers if your trying to sell on Ebay and even worst on Mercari the only real exception is DX Bandai valks. I gave up myself, it would be cheaper to keep at almost give away prices, but had it been transformers people would have been begging for them. sometimes its the other way around, that Yamato no painting version on Ebay I offered the guy a 80% asking price offer, he responded how rare and valuable it was, how upset was I would even make an offer, then raised the price even further. two years later its still listed on there. one reason I stopped buying vintage toys.
