  1. I still want one. I'd rather a 1A, though. Hey, what's wrong with the 1/48? It looks fine to me....
  2. Was 3 released in english? I never played it. I played FM1 on an emu, but didn't get too far, owing to the fact that all the story stuff was in japanese. 9The important gameplay stuff, weapon data and attacks, and things, were translated, but maybe they're in english in th japanese ver., too). I did lik ethe fact that the store was run by Tommy Chong.....
  3. Someone already did. I just don't remember who.... Was it twinmoons?
  4. Absolutely, avoid the MPC. It is innacurate, ugly, badly designed (everything is very loose), and made of extremely low quality materials.
  5. I haven't seen Eva, either. From what I do know about it, though, and the bits I've seen, i'm really not interested. It seems quite overrated.
  6. I'm constantly editing additions into my posts. Were it not for that function, i'd have over 1000 posts right now. And, what's so bad with editing? This isn't a courtroom. If I post something and realize that I shouldn't have said it, or that it could be misinterpreted, I should be able to change it before any damages are possible. It's not like we need to have a perfect record of everything anyone ever said.
  7. Trust me, you're not the first one to mention that. It's especially bad, because the F-14 kit Hasegawa used for the M0 F-14 is a really old kit, too. Raised panel lines, even. They've done several since, including an F-14D, which is many times better. But David Hingtgen knows the whole deal.
  8. Wow, it looks great! If I'm not mistaken, this was at the Otakon panel, right?
  9. I love the look of the Yammie ostrich. But the elint is a dissapointment. So I like the Bandai one better.
  10. I'd been wondering what was the deat, too. At first, I thought he was a disembodied head!
  11. I checked my Design Works. While the clean Fighter mode illustration shows normal vertical stabs, when the armor is on, it's clear that they're substantially smaller.
  12. Wait! I figured out that scene! Hikaru, and the rest of the Nyan Nyan, were Macronized!
  13. I'm always in awe of any papercraft. I've tried, but I have about at much accuracy with my hands as a normal person does wearing two catcher's mitts, so I won't be pulling one off any time soon.
  14. Lol! I love this thread! If anyone else had started it, he who actually started would have locked it!
  15. I love diecast, when used right. However, it isn't very good on the 1/60s. Every diecast part has become incredibly loose on my Max.
  16. no the greatest 1/48 is the low viz Couldn't agree more.
  17. Chaos Marines, to my knowledge, don't necessarily have to be evil. I was working on a squad of renagade marines, who had become freedom fighters, and found out, from a number of sources, that would have been classified as Chaos marines.
  18. *grumble* *grumble* Some guys have all the luck. :P That cellphone Valk actually looks fairly interesting to tag to a handphone. Good find! Lol. I would have expected it from a Roy, but hikaru?
  19. Woah! I want one! Any plans of recasting it?
  20. Stupid game's yelling about my videocard drivers, too. I need a new card though, even though i've only had mine a while, it was only meant to be temporary. Ti4200 isn't gonna cut it for Half Life 2.
  21. Fighter cokpits are often really small, that's for sure. Depends on the aircraft itself, though. Older jets especially have small cockpits, especially lightweight fighters and interceptors. IIRC, the F-14's not too bad, though, because it's designed for longer duration flights. Of course, there's always my favorite, the Su-32. It maintains the performance of the standard Su-27, but adds a two seat, side-by-side, cockpit, with standing room inside, a sleeping area, an oven, and a toilet!!!! And it has all the usual fighter perks, plus some new ones, like a rear radar allowing it to shoot missiles at pursuers!!!
  22. Truthfully, the entire idea of a humanoid mecha is quite pointless. Especially a variable one. Remember how much trouble Hikaru had the first time he tried to pilot a battrloid? And how unstable it was? Imagine that thing being hit by a tank shell. It'd knock it over. And, it would most likely lose parts critical to transformation.
  23. Not really. It'd actually be more like if you made yourself a recast of a macross toy, and left the original.
  24. I agree, it looks great. I wish I could do work like that....stupid innacurate motor control issues....
