Just for a color scheme, the FPs look good on the 1/48 if the leg and arm armor are the same color as the valk itself, and the missile sections of the packs, or the whole pack, are white. The missiles, as anti ship/anti ground weapons, will be painted green with black and yellow markings. For a more extensive modification, i've been thinging for a while about something like this. I think the most important thing would be to lower the FPs and create a fairing that would surrond them and integrate them into the aerodynamic shape.

1/60. I/48 is too big and expensive.

I know 1/48 wings are available, can the Max type be ordered? The panel on the wing fell of and dissappeared. (it's a rectangular panel that has about 1/4 of the UNS kite on it, in the middle of the wing, if anyone's wondering)

It's freaking insane. I'm like 1500 meters out of range. DSL was exactly the same. I'm gonna try to contact the cable company again, I haven't checked in a little while.

How about doing some showing the MAVE in a realistic environment? Like the one of his YF-19 parked on a rainy day...

If anime were bigger over here, I could see my supermarket having the toys. I mean, they sell TVs and electronic stuff, office supplies (not just pens and paper, bug stuff, like file cabinets), some sporting goods (tennis rackets, for instance, not only cheap ones, either, i've seen ones for like 60 bucks there) plus, they have real name toys, mostly mattel stuff, and a lot of boardgames. I've certainly seen toys here that cost as much as an MG would, and a lot of MSiA level stuff.

It's total BS around here. We have only basic cable + HBO. And that's 66 bucks a month. Digital is actually cheaper, but I don't think I can get it here. (DSL was the same way, we were the last area in LA to get it, and it took over a year to get it up here. it's not like we're way out nowere, I'm right between LA and the San Fernando Valley, but my local area just doesn't have enough customers, I guess. Thanks deregulation....)

I actually met "Faye" at AX. I didn't actually recognize him until h ementioned who he was, though, because he was in normal clothes. I asked him why he did it, and his answer did sort of make sense. After last year, which was done on a bet, he became world famous! And, so, he couldn't let down the "fans"!

While the 1/48 totally "pwnz" the 1/60, I still agree that the 1/60 size is a better size for larger production. But it'd need a serious remodel. I especially take issue with the diecast legs. While nice and heavy, after almost a year, my Max 1A has lost paint, been bent, become discolored, and lost all joint friction in the diecast legs. I think plastic legs would be a better idea.

I just noticed the nozzles. The modeller also made a bunch of other changes. Check out the nose gear, wingtips, and the circle on the leg.

Damn no I' Channel? That sucks but your not missing much though. Have you thought about DirectTV or change to local Cable i.e does the town/city power company provide cable service? ~G25 Adelphia is the local cable.

I've been meaning to get some of the Manga, I really like the Mecha design. But i've heard rumors of an upcoming re-release that is supposed to contain several of the original volumes per volume, so i''m waiting for that, cause it'll be cheaper.

I like the darker version of the packs much better. The light ones look like a candy cane. What continium does this fighter exist within?

Here's the story I'd heard: Originally, John was working on it as a small run GK. However, either he contacted Toynami, or Toynami contacted him, with the posibility of his design becoming the future MPC "Alpha". To gauge interest, he created a thread asking if people would buy it, were it produced. HG's legal department, somehow out of touch with Toynami department, saw the thread, and interpreted it as a thread actually selling the kit, and therefore, a copyright violation. In the resulting legal mess, the toynami crew decided not to go through the trouble, and instead opted for the version that will be released soon.

Actually, I'd heard that the normal MAXL was just an upgraded VF-11, with only minor airframe mods. Only the MAXL Kai has the delta config and the...other.... mods.
