In addition to Mandrake, I suggest Jungle - their prices are slightly higher, but they are a reliable online store. https://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/ Also I would recommend you check Mandrake and Jungle daily. Sometimes it's timing and luck to find something they've listed you want, in stock, and at a decent price. Good hunting!

Did the Macross HI-METAL destroids not do well at retail? I never see them in stock on Mandrake; I was under the impression they did alright at retail.

^ This. I completely agree. The molds for the legs are already done, so how much effort would it take to do the upper part of the destroid? C'mon Bandai!

I bought the SV-51 from HLJ in Jan 2021 and in their item description it explicitly said this version had the ankle issue resolved. Got the item and it was fine. I would expect this reissue to have the fix as well.
