#7 - First Law of Temporal Mortality 'Good Guys' and 'Bad Guys' both die in one of two ways - either so quick they don't even see it coming, OR it's a long drawn out affair where the character gains much insight to the workings of society, human existence or why the toast always lands butter side down. God I love this one! There should be something in there about mecha proportions and transformation, how the metal of a mecha is made out of the toughest and most inflexible material known the man, but when needed, can bend and stretch to accommodate a really cool transformation.

I havn't seen Lost in Translation, so I can't say if Murray Was robbed or not, I did see Mystic River, which is a very very good, dark flick IMHO. Though I am still glad LOTR's beat it in the best movie and best director catigory.

One of the nice things about the Dan is you get, 3 triple changing robots (4 if you count the complex origami required to make the dancougar's head as a transformation), gattai action, and a high level of detail, all in the largest SOC to date. Does anyone know how large Zambot will be?

I do. He is nice, but expensive. Watch out for the paint on the smaller lieger treads and the gold on great moth's chest.

The chest and arm sculpt on the VF-0 look really nice to me. It’s the leg sculpt that bother me. It's already been mentioned that the hip nubs, connecting the legs to the body, are oversized; I also think the hip joint connecting the upper intake and the lower legs are too prominent (you know the joint that makes gerwalk mode possible). The over prominence of this particular joint, I feel, is probably what reminds people the most of the banpresto. If this part were played down I think that would do a lot to improve the over all look of the toy. For those complaining about the PVC content, while I have my reservations as well, don’t forget the 1/60th is also a mixed material toy, of ABS, PVC, and Diecast.

This has been beaten to death, the canopys are not solid, what you see are test shots. The actual toy's canopy will be clear.

The Japanese versions of the Battlemechs I found way overdone for my taste. However, you can still do "Walking Tank" without being too clunky or anime-frilly: Lifted from http://tekki.jp interesting, that steel battalion mech looks an aweful lot like the Gundam: For the Barrel designs. They were done by the same mecha designer, that's why. There's a website out there but I don't remember the address. Silly Battletech. I havent played in a while, and even then I tried stuffing anime machines into it By the way, Fasa Died if anyone didn't notice. Yeah, battletech now belongs to Microsoft methinks.

Don't hold your breath. Weaver has always been a b*tch about the use of her likeness, and won't allow said likenesses to include any guns. Case in point, the otherwise excellent "Ripley" kit Geometric made a few years back. She wouldn't let them include an M41A/flamethrower, even as an option. Think she would object to her likeness associated with a powerloader?
