  1. http://toyup2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/im...40423010048.jpg Just flat out impressive, I know there is a thread for the monster, but I thought the dog deserved its own thread here. I'm glad to see the pilot figure will be articulated. at 1/12 scale, thats almost a full foot in height. Dammit Yamato, you start to lose my interest, then make stuff like this to reel me and my wallet back in.
  2. thats no MP Prime, its a much simpler design so im guessing its much smaller, especially if its gonna be marketed along with repainted cyberjets, look at the inner thighs and just look at his truck mode, nowhere near as good as MP Prime Probably being made to offer a cheaper alternative to those who couldn't afford MP. I'll be nabbing that Starscream for sure, I also like the mirage they are making.
  3. I haven't watched the show in years, so I didn't realize it'd been changed until I saw the post above. Blech. The change came when the nanites rebuilt RedDwarf. Originally I believe Red Dwarf was the butt end of the Jupiter Mining Company's fleet, The nanites rebuilt it as it was supposed to be if costs had not been cut on the original build. FYI, Corgi is making a Red Dwarf toy as well as a small starbug. And another company is making a Starbug playset with a minicrew, can't wait
  4. Things I love Independance War Corvette WhiteBase Calmari Cruiser (love that organic look) SW - Medical Frigate Taidani Capships and frigates from Homeworld 1 Carrier from WingCommander Prophecy (forgot what it was called) Exo-carrier Resolute The Ark from Transformers (does that count?) The Red Dwarf Any Kilrathi Capship Things I hate All kushan cap-ships and frigates from homeworld Vorlon Ships That ship from MoonTrap (crappy design for an even worse movie) Any saucer shaped ship. (No matter how many greebies you stick on the hull, a saucer is still a saucer.)
  5. Mecha and realism.... Such a silly conversation. Though for the record, the most plausable mecha design to hit the screen (IMHO) is the GITS thinktank. Though anyone who as seen episode two of GITS:SAC will discover how easily one of these babies is disabled.
  6. I thought the narn and centauri vessels lacked artificial gravity. It's been a while, but everytime I saw the inside of a narn ship they were all strapped in to their seats.
  7. Yeah, who would have thought such a small craft could demolish the largest and most powerful cap-ship in SW.
  8. That really stinks. I used to watch Gigantor as a kid and really loved it. Probably one of the few oldschool robot show I really liked. Farewell Mitsuteru Yokoyama.
  9. I've always wondered that as well.
  10. Man, if this is true, prices on the vintage stepper are gonna plummet I've seen them sell for over 1000 on ebay.
  11. Man, I thought i was the only one that liked that thing Well since they behaved like fightercraft in space, I'll nominate all exo-squad e-frames as well.
  12. In no particular order, A-wing Tie-interceptor Independance War Corvette (I know it's not a fighter, but damn I loved this thing) Most of the Homeworld fighter craft X-wing Gunstar B-wing (so fugly it's awsome)
  13. I guess it was only a matter of time before someone combined Transformers and Knight Rider. Hmmmm.... Imagine if we could convince Takara to make a limited edition Kitt BT.
  14. pretty cool, the design reminds me of a patlabor.
  15. dude, just walk into your local tru and you should be able to find them..
  16. I'm glad they didn't go with this design. WHEW. Actually when Peter is designing his suit on his sketch pad in the 1st, I think Alex Ross's design was one of his rejects.
  17. It was made specifically for the US? Damn, I knew the Japanese thought lowly of us, but not that lowly...
  18. Gah! I hated this anime. Even the man who transformed into the lawnmower of doom couldn't save the show
  19. Heh, actually I'm pretty anti-Eva as well. Graham Yup, EVA blows goats. Eva's are such a major throwback to super robots it makes me wanna puke.
  20. Okay, its been some time since I last DL'd any anime and I need a good fix. Generally speaking I prefer serious anime with emphasis on plot and charactor development, afterwards comedic drama, like trigun and Kenshin. So give me some suggestions folk, yes I know a topic like this pops up every month but hey its good for us, keeps us informed of whats out there
  21. Actually he looks like a klingon bird of prey
  22. Aw, You're just saying that... Hah! If you saw some of the crap I draw you'd understand why I can say what I just said and mean it
  23. Cool! Let's share some stuff! I'm a comic artist myself. This is an older version of the same mecha. I hope it can be seeing. This is getting so embarassing. What you call an embarasment, I'd be proud to be able to draw, your are a art god among us mortals
  24. Okay I own both Alternator and BT of each version. In terms of quality both are to notch, great material and construction. While the paint chiping has be overplayed expect a minor ammount of if you get the diecast BT versions. If your on a budget get an alternator, if you have a little money to burn and are not rough with your toys buy a BT, if you have tons of money buy both, one to display the other to play with.
