  1. Only 1 movie I liked him in, MIB.
  2. Anyone have a larger picture of tracks in Car Mode? I want to see how bad the hood seem is.
  3. This is gonna be just as bad as bicentenial man... Why do people feel the need to dumb down great sci-fi novels in the adaptation process (or just flat out ignore the original premise)? There are plenty of really bad, action adventure sci-fi novels that could be adapted into faithful and fun popcorn flicks.

    Homeworld 2

There don't seem to be any defects on the disk, and I am running XP. I did a check on my OS for flaws but didn't find any.

Perhaps the game disk is deffective, I have no idea, please help.
  6. You know, that is the one thing the 1/48th yamato is missing. It seriously needs a tail hook.
  7. Aren't they making a live action Tetsujin movie?
  8. Wow, I had no idea. From Hell was also a comic book turned movie.
  9. horrid, simply horrid. Okayokay just teasing I am honestly in awe, I can't wait to see your work on the rear turret assembly.
  10. If only Takara would make a BT combiner, imagine how awesome that would be
  11. There are several versions of the "Kerberos'" armor. The one in that auction is made by Dragon Models and depicts one version as shown in a live-action film. There is also an earlier design for another live-action film, and then there's the Jin-Roh anime film version. The first picture in the thread seems to be a CUSTOM 12" figure of the Jin-Roh design, made by Heroes Club, who are famous for their very expensive auctions of customized figures. Don't ask about whether such customs are 'worth it'... only the buyer can decide. If your heart is set on the Jin-Roh design, then tough. The only large toy of it is the 12" Japan-exclusive Medicom Collectors' Club edition (US$150~200++) which is now OOP. Some folks have sought out the 12" Kaiyodo vinyl kit instead to make their own 12" customs. Otherwide, you can opt for the smaller 5" Kaiyodo action figure. Do a search on the forum for Jin-roh or Kerbero Panzer Cops. Plenty of info in those older threads. Hero's club, those the same people who take the already superlative Marmit SW figures and customize them up the wazoo?
  12. I completely lost interest with enterprise after the 1st few eps of season 3.
  13. Not to bad, too bad BB will never be a VW because of VW's antiwar policy.
  14. Because it is a completely redesigned Longbow. The original was of course the Phalanx. The one in the MW4: Mercenaries is actually the 2nd redesign of the mech since the "unseens" were pulled. The first one was rounded off Longbow and the most recent "reseen" squared off Longbow from the computer game. The unseen's were altered enough to not fall under the lawsuit and to represent different battletech technology from when the first ones were released. Some of them were more radically altered than others. Check out the new Rifleman or any of the new OST series as compared to the new Archer. I am sure the artists and scuplters working on the "project pheonix" mechs, as the new designs were called, were very mindful of what would and would not be acceptable as far as tempting the lawsuit agreement. Actually if you want to mention new school BT mecha resembling their ripped off counterparts, look no farther than the vulture. The whole torso screams Spartan.
  15. I think we need a sopwith camel scheme with a snoopy pilot! And of course Milla can be his red barroness
  16. Because it's big, it's shiny, and it looks cool. That's the entertainment industry for you, no regard to reality, everything is about style (or at least perceived style)
  17. Lets see Dendrobium 300, dollars Dancougar 200+ PG Zeta 200 PG GP-01 170 Any of my 3 1/48s 120 to 150
  18. I dunno... i just found it on Google... I want to find out about toys like these... ~Tico That is the Medicom, Dragon only produced Kerbero based figures.
  19. Whoah! For the left hand, what kind of pose are you making it in? Close fist? Spread out hand?
  20. Wheeee! The same hammy acting of TOS as well
  21. Just to stand up for the plastic quality on Prime, I yoinked out my SOC Dancouagar and examined the plastic, it has about the same thickness and pearlecence as the 20th Anniversary Prime. I won't compare it to a Yammy valk, as I have always defended Yamatos on the basis that they are less toys, and more display models, but when it comes to bang for your buck, this prime does blow just about every SOC out of the water. Who knows, it could be a Takara vs Hasbro deal as I have the Takara Edition but have never held Hasbro's version. Anyone out there have both?
  22. Well, to be honest, they did the same thing to Jack Ryan before Bendover Assuck ever got to demolish him in the last move. Hunt for Red October - Good Jack Ryan, kick ass Jack Ryan. Patriot Games - BADASS Jack Ryan - Best of the series IMHO. Clear and Present Danger - All of the sudden, Jack Ryan won't pick up a gun anymore? He went from busting caps on everyone in the first two films, to being this MacGuyver like pussy in C&PD? Didn't even give Sum of All Fears the time of day because it starred Bendover Assuck. OH, and getting back on Bond... I always saw Roger Moore as - Groovy 70's Bond. Face it, for being a limey, dude was just Groovy!! Yeah, I guess thats true, though for me Hunt for Red October will always be the definitive Jack Ryan flick. Hey it even has our favorite Bond actor at the helm of a nuclear sub
  23. Ben Affleck already ruined Jack Ryan. Connery is the one true Bond, though Pierce Brosnan has done a good job as well, and fits the role pretty nicely. Way better than the others. I don't think there's anyone right now that can hit the role nearly as well as Brosnan has, so after Brosnan is done with his stint, the franchise should retire for now. Sum of All Fears was such a total cock up. I really hate it when they take classic charactors and update them, in some lame attempt to make them hip, for the next generation of brain dead kids. I blame crappy writing and total disrespect for continuity, more than I blame Afleck though.
  24. Clive Owen is just to gritty to play bond IMHO.
  25. Wasn't Morgan Freeman nominated for best suporting actor for that movie though?
