And the -A isn't? You MUST be smokin' the good stuff, man. 1J's are probably the most handsome head out of the four general types. 1A looks like a damn camera. That's why I like the A, no nonsense utilitarian look. That's not saying I don't like the 1S or 1J, actually I like most VF-1 heads for different reasons.

Yea. I found that rather ironic, considering he's one of the American cars planned for the series, and looks more "samurai" like than Smokescreen. Yeah, Sideswipe also reminds me alot of a samurai.

Damn! This thing is insane! For those worried this was going to skimp on the diecast don't be afraid. Aoshima has given us a figure that is 90% diecast. Save for the piston detail. Pros. All the major piston's function, even the jaw is articulated. It has spring coils for the tube detail in the shoulders. The shoulder joints, the hip joints, and knee joints are all ratcheted. It has about 24 points of articulation total. Cons Price is very high, also for some odd reason they didn't paint the smaller non functional pistons in grey or silver (they are just left black). If this bothers anyone it should be easy enough to paint them silver but still I have no idea why Aoshima didn't do this. I'll try and post some pictures later.

How sure are you that the Ideon transforming toyline is what's getting Graham all excited? I'm not sure, I am hoping it's not the line Graham was all excited about.

Hey! He has his shoulder missiles! Sweet! The level of kibble is a little disapointing. However, remember how mistransformed all the prototypes for Sideswipe always were? So I wouldn't put to much stock in this guys transformation of Tracks. I'll make my judgments on the bot mode when Takara releases official pictures.

I think Colonel Mustard did it in the living room with the candlestick i'd say it was professor plum in the billiard room with the revolver J.J. man, Colonel Mustard has more class than that, i say it was him in the Billiard room with the above said Revolver. I say it was Colonel Mustard in the library with the gunpod!

Word! I love the VF-1 as much as the next guy, but some variety in the macross line up would be welcomed. Who knows, perhaps we will be seeing the 19, 11, and 21 in 1/60th scale

All I want is for the Sci-fi simulation games to return. Oh how I mourn the loss of games like X-wing, Tie-fighter, Wing Commander, Freespace, Mechwarrior (okay not exactly dead but MW5 was delayed indefinantly). All we get is weak mouse driven crap like Freelancer. Adventure puzzlegames are another genre I want to see make a comeback. Genres I would like to see shelved for a while are FPS's, and racing games. Keep dem RPG's and RTS's coming!

This holds true for the BT version of Sideswipe as well. His paint job is not as glossy, and is also kinda orange.

You can play with it and don't have to wory about destroying the paint. For looks BT, for play Alternators. I am collecting both versions in this line.

True dat. I do the same thing with mine. Alternator in Bot, and BT in car mode. The plastic for the Alternator is the same quality as the plastic used in the BT, just more of it.
