Lucas hasn't been over-rated for a long time. I remember people dumping on him since Howard the Duck. However, GL is probably over-rated in my mind, but that's just because he is king of all geeks. I love how he can say "wookie" etc... with a straight face. He loves the world he created, whether everyone else does or not. Hell, even when the original trilogy came out the critics dumped on him.

hehe, I just thought perhaps with this 12 different wrap up stories it might have run a little longer.

I get the impression this ending will be done in the same style the opening of the 1st movie was done in. Can anyone who has seen a preview viewing confirm this? And what is the running length of this one?

Yeah. BUt most of the time the mad secrets aren't so secret after all. Only game I really yanked out a FAQ book for was Fallout, only cause it had sooo many hidden goodies. Does KOTOR have alot of hidden stuff as well? Gah! You ruined Fallout by getting a faq?!?!?! I only yanked out the FAQ after playing the game for the billionth time, cause I wanted to see if I missed anything

I disagree that it would have been too hard to render the Armored VF-0S in CG. I've seen examples of CG rendered Armored GBP-1S in the opening FMV for various Macross console and PC games and they look fine. I'm thinking it was more likely due to budget and/or time constraints. Graham wouldn't cell animation take more time than CG?

Can't agree more. Best prime ever. Heads and tails over the original convoy. Though personal tastes are personal tastes. I am more a transformer fan than a macross fan so prime gets priority over say, the Hikaru 1J. Hell I have 3 1/48s already, I don't need any more. Except for a Max 1J 1/48, and a 1/48 super O, and a 1/48 Elint.

It will come when it comes, just be patient. As I've said before, I'd rather they took their time and get it right rather than releasea botched design. Graham Er... like the Escaflowne? Gawd that thing is horrible. And it only took em three years to release it! And they still can't make it work! Yaaaaaaaaaag! What's worse is that I know it's bad, and I am still getting one. I don't know. I think the Esca looks really good.

THe same goes for alot of the performers in the new Star Wars movies. Most are decent to good actors, but the dialogue they have to work with is awful. Also George, while a great visionary, is not the best of directors.

My normal Hikaru DYRL 1A is the one that is most likely to get dressed up in the 1/48 GBP armor when it comes out.

A 20th anniversary DVD would be very nice. that would be some time next year. While this movie has a strong cult following, I am not sure it is big enough for the film studio to feel they can make a profit off of a 20th anniversary special edition. Tron and Blackhole received the 20th anniversary treatment though, so I guess anything is possible.

I am still up in the air about this toy. Mostly because of the price. 80 dollars for a 6 inch toy, that is probably going to be mostly plastic? Well I think I shall pass on the 1st run. Scott Bernard's (blue), is the 1st one being released correct? Does anyone know the exact order of release for the MPC Alpha line?
