I have them somewhere. They also had two cassettes that joined up to form one bigger robot - don't know their names, but the Autobots had a tank/airplane combo and the Decepts had a vulture/ape? combo. -
I bet you the fly-by-wire system is programmed to keep the twin fuselages within millimeters of each other within normal parameters. I'll agree though that this is a case of two separate aircraft flying in ridiculously close formation, more so than any twin that's come before.

With the 35th Anniversary coming up, I wouldn't be surprised if Bandai made a new 25 for that. I'm just not expecting it. I also think, if it's made, it'll be in a strange "35th Birthday of Macross!!" scheme that no one will like.

NY is far better than not having access to the item at all. You'd be stuck with eBay or YJA otherwise, and I reckon they'll cost much more than NY.
