  1. If you're truly that cluttered, might be time to downsize the collection. Keep only your favorites and/or the ones with the most value. $190/month adds up, and you'll be able to just re-buy things later with the money saved if you can avoid spending it.
  2. Might be the topcoat doing most of the work, a matte topcoat will severely change the appearance of plastic. For comparison, here's a model kit I made before and after topcoating (and panel lining/stickers).
  3. FWIW, apart from the glue failure on the foot of mine, and the extensively documented ankle issue, the joints on mine are just fine and not loosening or anything. Currently lying on a workbench in battroid until it has feet again, but no problems with the wings flopping or anything, and the torso locked together quite securely.
  4. Dunno about yours, but for mine the inner trays are not taped together, as they were for previous DX toys. The only seal is on the outer box itself.
  5. I really need to unbox my MB Eva 01, managed to get one of the first set produced. Showed up a bit before I moved, so stayed in the box.
  6. Good to hear you got it sorted out.
  7. That's more or less where I am with CDJapan. The only reason I haven't refunded entirely is I'm hoping to get replacement parts direct from Arcadia via a proxy. I'd say at this point to just return for a refund and buy a new one. Before ordering a new one, check with the seller to see if they can open and check to make sure it's not a defective one.
  8. Absolutely, all of my shelves and display cases are anchored. Then again, I’m in California. It’s not a question of if there’s an earthquake, it’s a question of when.
  9. Finally got off my backside and put out all 4 of my DX VF-1 figures for display. Still figuring out how to arrange the 1Js.
  10. It was Amazon Japan, and that deal appears to be gone now. Current price is ~$70+shipping.
  11. Night all. I wish the Bandai DX releases were this easy to pre-order.
  12. CDJ burned me on the SV-51, so not buying anything that might be defective from them.
  13. I got the same, so I just ordered AJ w/ international shipping instead.
  14. AMAZON JAPAN NOW SHIPPING TO THE US https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07YNQ1955/
  15. https://hlj.com/hi-metal-r-vf-4g-lightning-iii-bans58061
  16. Easier to register a Tenso address with AJ as one of your addresses.
  17. I'll wait for HLJ or Amazon.
  18. There's isn't a toy version of the "Psycho Zaku" yet, just HG and MG model kits. They're gigantic.
  19. FYI, Zenmarket may not list a fee per order, but they charge you a percentage on top whenever you pay them for anything. FromJapan just charges a flat 300 or 700 yen per order, on top of the base cost and shipping.
  20. Which is available through Amazon Japan, for only a little over $300 shipped (¥31,385 for me).
  21. Just a FYI, there was quite a while there where you could get a Max 1A shipped through Amazon Japan for less than I paid for my HLJ pre-order with shipping.
  22. Checked both of mine and no issues. Haven't seen any reports here either, might be a rare or 1-off issue.
  23. With how the existing 262 sold (and it's aftermarket pricing), I doubt we'll see another one unless they update the transformation a bit (possibly more like the model kit).
  24. Nah, it's pretty clear that it's about priorities. They prioritize having everything sell out, period. This method makes the retailers the most happy with them, since nothing sits and everything sells. They probably use this to negotiate better terms with the retailers themselves, plus it severely reduces the incidence of "shelf-warmers", which is what killed Yamato. It's a much safer business practice than trying to always make exactly as many as demand, plus it actually ends up driving *more* demand. Just look at how many people buy Bandai stuff in part because they know: it'll appreciate in value, they likely won't get another chance to buy at MSRP. Everything they sell as figures are essentially "limited time offers", plus the aftermarket prices make the MSRP look downright cheap. Both of which are factors that encourage people to buy. Now look at people who meet every Arcadia release with "I'll get it if it goes on sale", and we have Arcadia stuff sitting on shelves most times, and getting discounted half the time (which means retailers force higher margins onto Arcadia).
  25. 31C is my second favorite 31, and favorite of the Delta squad ones. Best color, best head design.
