Shipped out some of the Hachette VF-1 collections from HLJ on 3/14. Haven't left Japan yet. Oh well.

I only started getting DX Valks around the time of the renewal VF-25, only one I had before that was a beat to crap Chunky from a garage sale. Never had any Yamato valks until after the company was gone. I only have a single Yamato 1/60 VF-1 (and 2x 1/48s), which is a V1. Never saw the need to buy Yamato over Arcadia.

I moved a year ago, and all of the work of taking down my valks (and gundam models), transforming them back, boxing them back up, and taking them over was just exhausting. Doing that many transformations in a short period just took the fun out of it for me, at least for a while. The DX is legitimately the only toy I've actually enjoyed transforming since then, and most of the ones back up on display are still in fighter mode.
-
Y'all making me feel bad for not ever having pulled my PF VF-0S out of the box. Of the toys I've actually opened up for more than inspection: Yamato: YF-21 Arcadia: PF SDF-1 Bandai: DX VF-1S Regarding the DX: as an engineer, I appreciate small improvements across the board. There's no need to re-invent the wheel with every toy, sometimes you just need to change the spoke pattern or the radius a smidge. The DX VF-1 is by far the best posing battroid I have. The transformation is simple and the articulation is amazing. I haven't personally had issues with fighter alignment or the swing-bar.

I'd be down for CAD work. -
Honestly, just charge-back your card and let ebay hang.

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015

Haven't shipped mine either. I'm debating asking for a refund, though I know I'll just end up with weird store credit. -
I suspect that any further Delta releases will be once the movie is out.

Nice one, I think I'll have to get one for the M0 display.
-
When was their first one supposed to release anyway?

There is no other line for getting a Monster Mk II in-scale with everything else.
-
Anywhere else you can buy these, other than taobao? Managed to hang on registering my account somehow, so my phone is in use but I can't login or recover.
-
I had an order direct from P-Bandai via an ebay seller (cost was low enough they wouldn't have had margin any other way). I had to wait I believe 2-3 months because of how Bandai was trickling them out.
-
Also, as I recall, Bandai mistakenly left the pre-orders open on their website after they'd already reached the production limit for the 31a.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Sanity is Optional replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Already watched the first 6 episodes (Netflix released them already in Japanese, and there's subs out). It's pretty good, not completely bonkers insane like Gurren Lagann or Kill la Kill, but quite good. Characters and art are interesting, metaplot is present but each episode stands alone. -
Looks like FromJapan managed to secure an order for me. Anyone still looking: try DeJapan and Zen Market. If those fail, and you don't mind paying similar price to NY you can try emailing Gentei Kits and seeing if he can get one for you.
-
For reference, there are two other proxies I've used when From Japan was out of quantity (Metal Build Gernsback). Zen Market DeJapan Tenso/Buyee also work, except you can't use them to order anything from P-Bandai.
-
It's still available on the P-Bandai website, the issue is that the various proxies are already full on orders due to limited quantities per address. Probably a lot of ebay/amazon sellers going to pop up.

¥19,800 up front, ¥200 payment fee, ¥300 plan fee, ¥660 domestic shipping. So ¥20,960 before international shipping, of which ¥19,800 is up-front. Then probably ~¥3000-¥5000 international shipping.

If you're talking about the 001 vs 100 thing specifically, probably. They might have just re-printed the sticker/decal sheets after catching it (on models). I'm not aware of any gundam mis-prints, but then again I only know of 2 macross mis-prints (100 and the SWS shoulder).
-
Have you looked at the metal builds compared to the model kits or the various on-screen versions? They re-imagine everything, add more decals, etc... It's actually quite popular with the gundam kits, where the original screen-accurate versions can be quite bland and uninteresting when they're static.
-
This one's a web exclusive, so it'll probably up for quite a while. If it's too popular there's a decent chance they'll open a second issuing. Though I doubt it'll go there for Kakizaki.
