Finally got shipping payment request from my proxy. ¥5260 for FedEx, for 4 sets.
-
Still waiting for my proxy to finish boxing up my super packs to ship, oh well.
-
My proxy just sent notification my TV supers arrived.

It’s got the UN Spacey kite, which HG absolutely claim as theirs outside of Japan. BBTS may just be ignoring them, or possibly have worked out a deal due to being a major distributor of HG licensed merchandise.

You can't even have an account to order directly from Bandai/Tamashii unless you have a (unique) Japanese address and phone number. If you're buying somewhere else, they're buying it from Bandai/Tamashii and then shipping it out to you after they receive it.

Might be worth a try contacting Arcadia directly, and asking if they still have any leg repair sets they can ship (to a Tenso forwarding address).

If you don't want transforming figures, you could take a look at the Yamato GNU-Dou figures. They're much less expensive battroid-only figures roughly HMR sized.

Man, even the containers still there will probably be full of damaged goods as well. Some insurance company is having a huge "oof" moment right now.

Looks like Eaglemoss is doing a subscription kit for the enterprise D. $4.95 for the first 2 issues. $15.35 for the rest of the issues (3-120, incl shipping). 4/Month release (~2.5 years) $1816.25 total cost. https://en-us.eaglemoss.com/hero-collector/star-trek/uss-enterprise-buildup listed at 27inches long, so larger than the chronicles one was supposed to be.

Yes, it's standard aftermarket price right now. If you grab one via proxy on release it's ¥4400 plus proxy fees.

Just a heads-up to anyone ordering from NNG: if you chose private warehouse for your stuff, they won't ship out until early the month after release. This is what happened with my YF-29 from them. The VF-1S Roy I just had them ship directly, and it shipped out fairly quickly (before Amazon Japan shipped). Both were direct MSRP pre-orders.

NY has gone from "slow but dependable" to "total crapshoot" recently. See NY thread here:

They don't "always come through" anymore. Specifically since the Super parts, lots of people have gotten screwed over.

So, on the one copy I unboxed so far, the swivels at the gerwalk joint are super loose, as in the thing will do the splits on it's own if I'm not careful. Anyone else having a similar issue? I've got a bottle of joint fixer I may use on it, or just display in fighter mode.

I just finally got my CCS Gurren Lagann from ShowZ after 2.5 months in the post, can confirm they're using surface (at least for larger stuff).- 2166 replies

Surprising no-one, the scalpers are getting desperate to unload now that they've actually sunk money into these.

My Amazon JP shipment showed up, so got my 3 now. Still need to inspect the AJ ones.

Nothing to wonder about, they absolutely are buying from other shops for their second+ wave of pre-orders.
-
Anyone else feel like the joints are a bit looser than earlier versions? Mainly the gerwalk leg pivot.
-
That blows @myk, over here they just say it's signed for by "signature not required", or if I'm lucky confirm someone is home before leaving it on the step (without signature). On the bright side, just got my Roy from Nin-Nin delivered, original (no markup) PO pricing, and no extra shipping charges (I paid $40 for FedEx at time of order though).

Man, people are getting theirs from Amazon Japan, and I'm still waiting for mine to ship.

Still waiting for shipment notice from Amazon Japan, for my direct pre-order.
