Private Warehouse. Things there can be cancelled until 7days after they stock, and can be held up to 60days to combine shipping. Also they have good shipping prices for private warehouse stuff.

I bought a VF-1S Roy super/strike from Arcadia with no complaints. It's not like I had any Yamato 1/60 figures, and buying one on the used market would cost more than the Arcadia.

Oh, you mean the ship by sea option or whatever it's called. How long does it usually take to show up? I saw several months and have been skipping it until now.

Actual ship method? I don't recall that being one of the listed options, I'm guessing it's limited by country/region?

PG Phenex was too big to ship by any cheaper method. Same for the SDF-1 premium finish I have on order with them. Still ends up cheaper, but the shipping charges really eat up the savings. It's a shame HLJ doesn't sell PBandai or Tamashi web shop stuff.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed NY only charged more for EMS shipping. Though looking back their SAL is roughly the same as HLJ for most of my orders.

Also worth mentioning that while NY has low cost, they also charge more than most other shops for shipping. Still ends up cheaper, but not by as much as at first glance. They charged me 10,100¥ to ship a PG Phenex. HLJ ships the PG Unicorn/Banshee (same size box) for 6,500¥.

I figured they were doing it for the same reason that Bandai doesn't do re-releases of their DX Chogokin figures: limited availability helps them sell out initially and increases desirability.

Looks like the 35th anniversary VF-31 is up for sale, at least on Hobby Search. -
At that scale, modifications (like detailing or LEDs) ought to be quite easy to add in.

NY says they shipped out my VF-1 Messer, finally I will have a HMR VF-1S.

I ended up taking the Lil Drakens off of mine, and leaving it at fighter mode with opened missile bays. I wish the gerwalk held together better, as I'd prefer to display it in that form.

I'd like to believe so, but the TV series isn't as popular in Japan, and also there will be people (myself included) waiting for the premium version. Plus I think they decide production volume based on presales to a certain extent.

Both HLJ and Hobby Search seem to be sold out of pre-orders for the standard version now. This popularity gives me hope for a TV version.

Good to know, I'll fix that this evening. 3 of my 4 had the plastic in threads issue they warned about on their website, going to take an M4 tap and try and clear them out.

Bought it used from Jungle, came with non-working LEDs and sunburn on one side. So it's getting some replacement wiring (Multimeter says the LEDs still work) and a coat of paint. Also debating casting replacements of the clear parts, as they're a bit browned.

My Flight Pose stands showed up today, finally I can display my YF-19 as it ought to be.

3 of my 4 stay on securely, the last one I managed to knock off once. Seems like the design tolerance is a bit tighter than the manufacturing process managed.
