Mylene colors? Ronald McDonald scheme definitely doesn't qualify... around here, anyway. Don't see it mentioned, but looks like the Sound Booster is scheduled for November, 2011: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=85712

Why? Feel obligated to get it? I passed since I've never been fond of the drab DYRL color scheme and am hoping for a TV repaint with the proper Carrier arms. I still would like an ARMD or two for scenery/comparison and maybe the oddball switcheroo, though.

I saw the vintage Gree at Target, but have the previous one, which is the same fig. Great clone. Love the articulated wrists and the helmet is the best. Hard and big/deep enough that you don't see a chin, etc.

I keep hoping for a big price cut on the current PSP. Guess that won't happen until the pricing on the NGP, at least, huh?
-
They show it after the credits, so you have a bit of a wait. It's huge, bigger than any piece of furniture and it looks like you can give it a transform command. I'd be happy if it was least in the HK Home so I could use English controls. It seems like the JPN Home is quicker than my US account sometimes...
-
I never got a PSP but really liking the looks of NGP. If it's more than $299 I'll pass though and pick up a lightly used and/or discounted PSP-3000 until NGP gets cheaper.

Crack your PSP So I'm messing around on the JPN Home account... watched the first Ep of SDF-Macross.... now in the second theater... HTF do you get that Transforming SDF-1 for your personal space? I think I saw a schedule, too with MII, M7, etc but don't know WTF everything says. The JPN Home Mall doesn't have crap compared to the US one, which is pretty surprising...

I'd rather have the PS3 version so I can watch it on the 60" with 7.1
-
You could probably hire TREX to design them directly for you and skip the Yamato
-
The only benefit of 1/48 is it's a common scale, but too expensive for my tastes. I wish they would hit 1/72 again. Yes with the VF-1.

Even though I own one, not really interested in 360 discussion...

I liked it up until Star by Star, which I loved. After that, though, I kinda lost it. I particularly didn't like the way they portrayed the Supreme Overlord after that. I liked how... mystical he was and the spiritual way the Vong reacted around him, even Tsavong Lah... but then it turned into treating him like a generic politician and got even worse after the revelation (didn't have a problem with the concept itself... mostly in the execution of the revelation) and the wrap up felt a bit anti-climactic.

Any reviews or anything? Curious if any content from MUF is lost or not...

Cool list. I don't know if I'd scratch the Regult off that list... technically, maybe but not really a production item. Big scale DYRL SDF-1 is...
-
Damn son... you win the megamillions, might as well go to the 1/2000 thread.

Eh? TFU and TFU2 are "C-Canon," which is still 'canon.' Below the movies (and tv series like the Clone Wars). At the same level is the Zahn books, which had an unstable clone of a Jedi Master (originally Zahn wanted it to be Obi-wan, but LFL nixed that just like they didn't allow Zahn to call the Nogrhi the Sith - remember at the time, noone knew what 'Sith' were... despite the name had been used since 77 in the merchandising and novelizations, etc it was just a title Vader had).

I'm still waiting for the 'real' SDF-1, the TV version.

I prefer a no-cockpit model since I doubt I'll ever get the pilots to put in there. If there were pilots and full-cockpit 'deluxe' version, I might buy one... but my army builders would probably lack it. If they were about ~$100 each I could see buying 3 or 4 army builders, at least of the standard model (AA guns) and one or two with long-range and short-range missiles. Not real into the Scout variant, though. Don't really want gimmicks. I want it to be as articulated as the Revoltech and a bit beyond (articulated AA guns, etc). The main "gimmick" I would still want is the opening and closing eye.

I'd like a capital ship set, but on a much smaller scale than 1/3000. Big cucumber at that size is a bit TOO big. I'm thinking a nice small scale for a "Fleet Battles" type thing would be nice, though. No more than a foot long, for example. What are these etching sets for exactly? The panel lines are already on a 1/60 VF-1...
-
Probably not. 1J has never really been my favorite. Now a low-viz 1J would be another story...
-
Looks like they sold out/discontinued before THIS sale, but did anyone get the Starship Troopers (3) Marauder they had?
-
Not articulated or anything, right? Unless it was in common scale (1/60 for me), I definitely don't see the appeal. She has the wrong... proportions for me to be buying for my daughter, too. Otherwise, this belongs with the discussion in the Regult thread.
-
Really hope we get a TV color adaption with Daedalus and Prometheus
-
Wow, that looks great, man. I soooooo wish we could get a mass produced version in the same scale.
