LOL Seriously excellent details, the PE parts for the Vf1 had great detail but I think you my have surpassed them.

IIRC the UMD movie regioning is the same as the DVD regioning. Firmware update is most likely gonna be a necessity. Just hope that DarkAlex comes up with a "fixed firmware" with a high enough release number before the release of MUF.

Warm water is the only way to go, I use a saucer and one of those USB powered cup warmers,slightly modded to keep it that way. Works for me.

ARG!!! Technically the 1S one ws my first Macross toy too. Although I did have access to my Brothers Jetfire and several build ARII kits before this. Now I have several of the little bastards just for old time sake.

At least those images dont make them look all that bad hope fully any reimages will be as good. Watch the flaming guys this thread could get some lockage action, which would be a shame.

Just been doing abit of google videoing and as always the subject of Macross eventually came up in my search. I found How exactly did I miss this for so many years Gonna have to try this out. Anyone know if it works on Vista or Windows 7 ?

That's the type I have I also have the larger ones ) The Exo Squad ones are still fairly plentiful they crop up at discount stores and junk sales etc quite often. Still they are quite good renderings and are excellent for the kids as playthings to divert attention from Yamatos and finished Hasagawas.

You can imagine the level of detail one could get if you let HWRMKII or Mr Cheng to (name a few) get involved here. I wonder if you can panneline or oil wash frosting :?

Well I hope you and yours and of cause the build makes it Stateside ok. On the otherside I am gutted that I now wont be able to see it in person But theres always the internet. That and the U.S is nearer Japan Planewise, so Dengeki and Hobby Japan have less traveling when they come round to photo it for the feature it so rightly deserves.

Well it shows that you should keep all those left over kit parts, you never know when Maverick might need them Im interested to know did you just glue some bits together and then just come up with the idea as you went along or did you have a "plan" ?
