I am happy and smug in the fact that I have seen all of them so far and my friends with the exception of one have not seen past episode 7. For once I get to do something first. Good ole U.K T.V by the time they all get to episode 10 I`ll be on the next series YAY. My friend is off to Canada soon so along with the series 3 Lost DVD set He`ll now be getting the series one Heroes set for me too.

I`ll be down for one kit. I will sling the money your way once I get paid in a few days.

I often wonder if Yamato ever looks at the resale value of the two seater 1/55`s, surely they must think if people are willing to spend $1000+ on a toy that is 20 years old and not that good a representaion of the product, what would they do for a more acurate and bigger 1/48 one. Then I wonder why Bandai just dosent release some reissued versions with slight tweaks they did for the other 1/55 reissues. If they made them noticably different to the originals then this would not devalue the originals. I have never got one but I have a recasting of the Super O and hopefully a VE when it eventually comes. But originals would kick ass.

Well I was gonna say the same as the others. Tamiya is not very brush friendly, its ok for small details etc but rubish for area painting. I have had some nice results with the Games Workshop acrylics, although the colours sway more towards armor and metalics and orcs blood they do coat well and I have used them on some large figures etc.

Prices are still daft really when you think about it.

Yeah my 4th issue the last one IIRC has slightly crocked skulls, not as bad as some and definately better than eairlier versions. Who knows we have bashed em here enought maybe Graham has had a few words in thier shell.

I love the foam core stuff. You can get it really cheap from sign makers they use it for bilboardings at exhibitions etc so it generally gets chucked out after and off cuts are offten found waiting for the Trashmen. I use Good old Tamiya thick styrene glue and Revell Contacta, the one in the handy blue presision aplicator bottle thing that always get blocked up Other than that I use Zap A Gap Ca+ in its various guises. It glues most things including body parts. generally its good for structural stuff and where you need to put putty o filler ontop, you can scribe it with pannelines if your careful, but its much better as a base material. I used it on my now on hold 1/55 custom.

Nice collection there, some fairly exclusive stuff too.

It bonds great and fills good too. I have used it on a few different things. The stuff I most favor is the 4mm sstyrene foam sandwhich stuff. It can be a p.i.t.a to cut as it can splinter but the best bit is its cheap.

Maybe you should talk to Dyno about his recast 1/48 hands they are perfect for the 1/55 IMO, I got me two sets. I may well get some more.as they are also great sizewise for 1/24 Binaltech/ Alternator TF`s

Im glad that the SDF will be released again as I missed out on that, and couldnt find one in Tokyo while I was there. A TV version would be good though.
